So, there was a deluxe Popy Tet 28 for sale out of Japan, and it was real nice, minus not having any missiles, small boys or tech bots, but it did have all magnetic panels, rocket pack, and ax on head, but not the other two. He was asking 1400, and I was like i can't see myself buying one for that much, if it is not complete, mattes not as it sold in like two days, these guys are definitely not growing on trees, lol....
Anyhow, I talked to owner a bit, just before and after it sold, real nice fellow, and he said it was good price, even with small hair line crack on back of head, very unnoticeable, unless you display backwards, lol....
Anyhow, I told him that I saw 2 nice Tet Popy out of South America, which one went for 800, minus one boy an 6 missiles, and the other was just missing some mssiles, and went for 1700, in one day. He told me that those were fraud auctions, and he had did research on it. His friend supposedly bought the 800 dollar one, receiving nothing, tough break....
Ebay is kinda like that old tree in the Flash Gordon movie, with the poison worm which lives inside, and as a test of courage, they play a sort of Russian roulette by sticking arm into the holes of tree trunk, hoping they don't stick it in hole where the poison slug worm beast lives, roflmao!!!!!
I know this guy knew what he was talking about, as I mentioned South America only, and he came back and mentioned Chile, the exact spot for these Tet 28 so called deluxe bots. Like dad always says "If something looks to good to be true, it probably is".....
Anyhow just wanted to warn all, may save some of us some big money, by being alerted to such fraud, take care all, and happy collecting....
