Have any of you had any issues with your GFF figures? I've recently purchased a few pieces from eBay and although the packages themselves were factory sealed a few of the figures had problems.
However, aside from the issue of distortion which is easily remedied with a pot of boiled water, my GFF 0030 Z II turned up missing its left "knee". After clipping off all the twist-ties and freeing the Z II figure I noticed that his left knee protrusion wasn't there. I checked the whole box but it was nowhere to be found.
Do you know whom to contact in Bandai for replacement parts?
Thank you.

My GFF Metal Composite Zetaplus came with a bent front landing gear (metal), but since he can't actually BALANCE on the landing gear, it hasn't bothered me overmuch since I put it right back in the box and immediately forgot about it.
You probably wont be able to contact Bandai for parts if you're overseas. Most Japanese manufacturers have a fairly rigid "this is not for sale outside of Japan so we cannot help you" policy. Your best bet would be trying to contact a retailer based in Japan, such as Hobby Link Japan (or even the person you bought it from on ebay) to see if they can assist you.

i have a couple of paint smudges problems on my GFFs and even GFFMCs, which are actually common issues IMHO (but i can live with it, actually we should not, but hey, i'm too lazy to build and paint my own models, so i gotta learn to live with 'em ) and especially on older releases. i also witness a lot of similar problems on reissues, so i dun think we can do much about it. i have quite a bit of GFFs and GFFMCs at home, and to be honest, i only displayed my z gundam #0036, rx-78-2 #1001, psycho gundam #1003 and unicorn gundam #1006. my #0036 had a little bit of paint smudge problem, around the areas where the cable ties were fastened to the toy initially, joints are pretty loose so parts tend to fall off easily (but i dun play around with it so no worries here), tho putting it togather initially made my blood boiled a little, #1001 had a little paint smudge problem but other than that, defect free, #1003 and #1006 were simply excellent and defect free pieces for me. as to getting replacement parts from bandai, no harm trying, probably get their email addy from their website, but i suppose you might need to converse in Japanese or something, the Japanese come across as pretty rigid in these kinda things.

I only own one GFF; 0033 Gundam X. I got a few complaints, but I can't complain about the paint it's immaculate. All the markings are sharp it's gorgeous. The gun for the "divider" version of Gundam-X was way warped out of the package, it was easy to sort out so no big deal. The big deal for me is the joints in the arm are so weak he can't hold up his shield. I am sure this is due to it needing the ability to part-swap for the conversion to the bit MS but it still sucks. My other big complaint is that all of the parts that open(divider shield, rifle shield) do not close properly so there is an unsightly gap. The divider shield also likes to come apart when trying to open it fully. So while I like the figure it is not the best one I have.

My first GFF was the Full armor Gundam, took it out of the package and the left leg broke, the plastic disintegrated like the hands of a Aoshima Legioss. It is glued back together. I have 2 others, the G-Fighter and the Alex, I don't think I will buy anymore outside of the GFF Metal Composite.
