Honestly, I really think that they have no idea what a copyright is over there. Did they honestly think that they would get away with a giant copy of what is arguably one of the most recognizable anime robots in the world? No, I'm sure it was an honest mistake, and that the exact likeness and insignias on the shoulders were just a coincidence.

Is it really that hard for them to come up with an original idea for a giant robot? People do it for the fun draws here, all the time, for free. Just steal one of those designs.
