Just looking for some help with a fix.
It looks like the old owner tried glue that flaked off and didn't work. Should I try a silicone, caulk or recast the part?

I'd try a two part epoxy glue, it works most of the time when I can't fix things with superglue

Is this a Jumbo Machinder leg? If so (or regardless), you're going to have one heck of a time trying to fix that, because you have to put great stress on it to reattach this part to the body. Getting it to stay is one thing. Getting it to stay and then forcing this fixed part through a small opening and standing up the the stress of the joint is another. Unfortunately, I don't have a suggestion. I've tried to fix something similar in the past with little success. I've even tried melting the two parts together. Let me know if kaeruze's suggestion works adequately.
