Like all of the recent Transformers reissues, Perceptor will get the E-Hobby exclusive repaint treatment as well. This time he's going to be done in black, and will be a Decepticon named "Magnificus". Repaint not good enough for ya? Well, this time, E-Hobby is including an exclusive Microman figure, named "Ga-Mede", to give us Perceptor's full original Microman playability! Awesome stuff! Thank you Takara and E-Hobby! Click here to check out Magnificus and Ga-Mede!

I'm not agree with this kind of issue... in the anime this Magnificus was absent... I think is better to make a reissue of Mirage, Wheeljack and so on... and not this kind of ideas...

What's not to like? They're reissuing Perceptor, so a repaint like this makes an easily produced collectible using the same mold. E-Hobby's objective has generally been to do repaints based on the original toy's (Diaclone or Microman) colors, and they actually improve on that notion by creating new character names and bios to fit them into the Transformers universe. I'm sure if and when they reissue guys like Mirage and Wheeljack, E-Hobby will also do the red Diaclone F1 racer, as well as the Marlboor Lancia Stratos. The E-Hobby versions are almost always winners, in my book.

I like diaclone colours for the reissue but not the inventions from zero as seem this perceptor (it didn't exist in diaclone version)... I'm a classic transformers fan...

I hear ya. I love the classics too. ;D I guess these are a bit of a stray from the old continuity, but that's what I like about it. Adding new stuff under the G1 banner. Well, on the bright side, at least we're also getting a reissue of Perceptor.

There's no Diaclone colors for Perceptor. That's because Perceptor is based on a Microman Microchange toy, not a Diaclone toy. This ehobby reissue is most certainly based on the original Microman colors for the toy that became Perceptor. This is not some made up color scheme.
