I saw a report at another forum that listed the upcoming tf figures from takara. Seems that #20 will be a Minibot Set 2 and #21 will be Galvatron. adctalk.com/index.php?showtopic=1986928It's not confirmed yet though.

I don't know if there is some truth... maybe no... Ok for Galvatron... but i think now would be better Wheeljack or Mirage... not another minibot set... even if i will buy these

Minibot set 2 sounds cool...I'm waiting for the E-Hobby version of THAT (Hoping for Blue Cliffjumper & Red Bumblejumper...) If it's 6 again I wonder if it'll be Bumblejumper, Cliffjumper, Wheelie, Brawn, Windcharger & Beachcomber or if we'll see one (or more) of the remolds Swerve, Pipes, Outback, Tailgate, Hubcap (Or this will be the Minibot 3 lineup...)

But it all depends if Takara still has the molds for the toys and if they think they will have a high enough demand for that figure.

I don't think anyone is holding their breath for Galvatron. What a poor choice. I've never understood the appeal of minibots either, but at least some people like those.
Where are the Dinobots, the Cassettes, the rest of the Heroic Autobots, and the long sought after Japanese and European exclusives?

I think that if they had a good demand for Skid...... they could have also for Mirage, Wheeljack, Swoop, Shockwave and so on... The mold: why Takara could not still have some molds? Even if they have not some mold... they could have almost a now toy and re-mold this toy...
Maybe this is a commercial idea... so they not use all the great reissues now in few years and have all the attention of the fan also in future because the fans want all their Heroic Transformers... If Takara will do reissue the next 3-4 years and will not have reissued Mirage (for example) the real fans will pay attention for Takara releases... Maybe from the past Takara had learned something......
Shockwave, Omega Supreme and others: Takara uses the molds of others toys company... I think if Takara can use the mold in the 1985 (for Example) can use the mold also in 2005... even if this is not true... why, the company maker of Shockwave or Omega Supreme are still in life!? There are not any lind of copyright... and if yes the only company in life is TAKARA...
future.............waiting...... and (maybe) will have all our reissue...

The copyrights to Omega, Shockwave etc could still be privately held, much like Marty Abrams still held the rights to Micronauts long after the demise of Mego (Heck he was even able to prevent Takara from putting out Microman here until the new Micromen came out and they created the line that became Micronauts!)
I also heard that Mirage may be a casualty of legal issues that came out during G1. Apparently there is an actual Ligier/Citanes racing team and they weren't too happy with the use of their car without their consent.
I don't know why we haven't seen Wheeljack or Sunstreaker though...or even mainstream Trailbreaker and Grapple releases...

You guys all have good points. But just like Bandai seems to be holding out on guys like Daimos, Reideen, and Voltes for the SOCs, Takara is probably doing the same with more of the fan fave TFs. For now, it appears the reissues' sales are doing pretty well, so they're probably saving reissues like Mirage, Wheeljack, the Dinobots and so forth for when sales begin to drop. Then they'll reissue these guys and reel us all back into the game, and our money from our wallets.

I demand a wheeljack!. I wouldn't complain about a Springer reissue though ;D

They should release more combiner sets, Predaking was nice and all, but the price was a little high. Sets like the Arielbots, Protectobots, Stunticons, and the super rare Seacon set shouldn't cost more then $50-60.00. Hell, if the bootleggers can sell and make them, I'm sure Takara could.
