MP-02 Ultra Magnus can run anywhere between $100 and $120. The guy who made this custom trailer/armor for UM is selling the armor for $750. Yes, it's a lot of money, but imagine the time, blood, sweat, and tears that went into designing and making it.

Heres a sample pic of my Magnus. I took a few shots of him for a review but the pics didn't come out to good. I'll be making a full review of him by tommorrow. God I love this toy! Paint smudges and all! There are a few flaws with him but aside from that, I like the white paint scheme. ;D

I love my Magnus!! The first thing I did was switch guns with Prime so Prime could have a totally black gun. But what surprised me was how good Magnus looked with the grey/blue gun, it matches his colour scheme way better than the black one.

Hmm... I missed MP-01... but I saw this at a local shop just this afternoon. I didn't think to check the price tag on it because in all honestly, I'm a little tight on my budget having just gone and spent the last of my tax-refund for the year. Hope its still around when I get some cash saved up...

So I finally had time to drop by that shop again. The sticker was $169CAD - which I suppose is decent after a conversion from USD. Still didn't pick him up though... I'm now kinda pondering my options - I saw a Hasbro MP-01 at a different shop at regular retail price (which I guess is also fair since I don't see these floating around eBay as often anymore) - plus I'd save on shipping either way. If I were to get Ultra Magnus too I think I'd like to switch the smokestacks so that Prime would get the long stacks.
Anybody out there do the custom stacks thing? I've seen repro stacks on eBay... has anybody put those on? And if so, was it hard to disassemble and reassemble Prime's shoulders?

I wouldn't change the stacks... I know they're supposed to be longer, but that size doesn't really bother me at all. Besides, that's part of it being the Hasbro version, and I'm happy with my Prime the way it is.
