The OVA was so so but the designs were good now it just depends on the price, I'm guessing 14,500YEN for this figure.

So I just watched the first OVA... can you say Tekkaman Blade?!!! ;D Not knowing anything about Orgun, I always thought it was a giant robot, but it turns out that it is just an human sized armor... well a 8 or 9 feet tall armor. Even its pilot looks just like D-Boy! ;D

I never watched the OVA, but I played the game on the MEGA CD (Japanese SEGA CD) which I still own.
I was preparing to pre-order it on May 10, but since I am literally running out of room I am contemplating the idea of skipping it and wait for SEN-TI-NEL's Getter's.

I finished the 3 part OVA and it wasn't bad. However, I personally wouldn't pay Riobot prices for a Detonator Orgun figure. But if it's ever released as a Figma, Armor-Plus, or even Robot Damashii, I will certainly get one. }D

Preordered from HLJ, just in case I need a quick disconnect. Hope not though. I rather enjoyed the first of the OVAs.

Orgun is one of those characters that you have to think to yourself about and ask yourself, "Will there really be anymore high end or even low end toys of this character ?" Sure strange things do happen when multiple companies take on obscure characters, but I really appreciate Sentinel for having the balls to release a high end Orgun toy in the midst of the PVC girly statue, nendriod takeover.

Orgun is 14 cm tall at the head, 15 cm tall overall.
Preordered mine without hesitation and cannot wait. I love the OVA, and the design for Orgun himself is one of my favorites.

He's really less than 6" tall? For $90? I have 5 of these ordered with HLJ but if that's how tiny Riobots are I may have to pass. Not trying to be cheap here or anything, and if any of you know me from macrossworld you know I just bought 5 VF-171 CFs so I do spend a bit on Japanese toys, but a 6" figure just doesn't interest me.

Well if 6 inch tall figures aren't your shtick then more money saved for you. As for the rest of us, an Orgun toy is too hard to pass up.
