Hi everyone, It's good to have a site like here to share/ask of Godaikin/Chogokin informations. I am a newbie here and would like to know the prices lately of Godaikin/Chogokin mint in box and toy(or c9.5) for my start. My favourite items are: Daitetsujin 17 Danguard Ace Daltanious Volts V Personally I prefer Godaikin version instead of popy version mostly due to the price differential I have heard and second is the artwork of the boxes. And also, I would like to know the lately prices in Eternal Materpiece reissue version of the above first 2 items cause the artwork of the boxes look good to me as well, just hopefully it's not the most exspensive version in the market now. Thanks for answering in advance and best wishes to everyone here. Ray from HK

Welcome superay. I am kinda new here too.... Some of us here have already been talking about this here on RJ. Here are a couple of threads where we talked about Voltes V, Daimos, Sun Vulcan, Goggle V and some others: robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Popychogokin&thread=18059&page=1#218938Here's one when I asked about the price range for Daltanious: robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Popychogokin&action=display&thread=17860You should try and do a search on here, there are a lot of great thread discussions on price ranges and their search engine for narrowing down what designated category it falls in (check box section) is very useful. Another way just to check on EvilBay - Oops I mean eBay, is to perform a search on the designated character or Bot you are looking for and select completed items and it should give you what has been sold in that search for the last 30 to 45 days I think. So I just did a "Completed" search on eBay for Daitetsujin and a Popy one sold for $281 on 2/24. Just give some of these searches a try and you should be able to find a decent price range for all that you are looking for.... -B

Thanks so much for your reply and advice, berserker211. I just learnt and did some research on ebay as you told and basically got the idea of checking the price ranges. It seems that lately not much interested items could be tracked but as some vintage collectors here say "just be patient and it will be found". Anyway, thanks for your reply again and I hope sooner or later I can get some favourites to share with you all. Oh, BTW, do you know about the price range of MIB Kyodain ground car in Shogun version ?

I am not too familiar with it, but it can be another good reference point on price ranges, especially on vintage if that's what you need. -Yup, patience is usually the key... I learned that the hard way. -No I don't know about the Kyodain Ground Car Shogun ver. I don't have enough knowledge on Popy Vehicles, but I do own a couple of Popy Daimos Cars and Daltanious Glider w/ head, but that's about it... Hopefully someone else can help you out with that... -B

Thanks for your reply again, berserker211. Speaking of the vintage toys I am just a starter, I just own a Godaikin version of Daitetsujin 17 by now. Other than the vintage toys the Soul of Chogokin series is my favourite, I have been collecting it since I first noticed the release of Gold Ligtan GX-32. Thanks for your advice again but it seems that there are not much transactions completed in the online vintage market lately. (....be patient.... yes....I know... )

i've seen D17 MIB going for $180 - $250 USD on eBay. There are a few that have been sitting on eBay for almost a year at $450 - $550 I just bought a very nice loose D17 GA-81 For $110 shipped that had all the small bits and two sets of fists, just missing box. Am very happy, I have one from my childhood but it's very beat up.

Hello Sr. KinBoyD! I just checked my Daimos car and unfortunately it only cam with 1 pilot, as for Daltinious Head I remember I looked at him a month ago and I don't think I have an extra trans. cockpit. I wish I did since it seems your are in need of them, Sorry. -B

No, I just thought you had multiples because you said "...I do own a couple of Popy Daimos Cars and Daltanious Glider w/ head." I guess you meant you own a couple Popinica, including these two, not that you own a couples of these particular ones. Just my misunderstanding.

No, it's not your misunderstanding - Yeah you're correct I did say a "couple", but what I meant was that I do own a couple, but they're both different - My Bad I didn't specify. The 1st one I have is the one that we're talking about and the 2nd one I don't think its a Popynica, but made by Popy. Its smaller and instead of a box it is packaged as a figure with blue card-back board and plastic blister, but I think its diecast also? No? WAit, I just checked and the number is D-04 and its a little bigger than a hot wheels car and is packed with red missles on plas. tree.
