Here are more questions from me.1)Does the paint on MP Convoy chip easily? If so,how?2)When transforming,do plastic parts actually touch each other to move?I appreciate responses.Have a nice day!

I've had mine since it first came out and probably transformed it a hundred times, and I can honestly say that mine is still in mint condition. No paint chips or scratches whatsoever, but you do have to be careful when transforming though especially the legs which connect together and retract. As for plastic parts touching there are a couple times when transforming to truck mode that the arms rub a little but I haven't seen any scratches or stress marks. If your thinking of getting MP Prime have no worries since it is the best representation of Prime and probably the best Transformer ever.

I've tf'd mine a couple of times without any ruination, but I am now hesitant to do so much more in the future, as I have heard stories of paint chipping. Sadly, that will almost always be an issue when painted diecast is present. And that's the ONLY drawback to diecast.

I've also transformed it a lot of times, no paint chipping at all. And about the plastic parts...well, the first time I transformed the toy, the plastic box that contains the matrix popped off. I was like "Ohh my god NO!!! F#$%!!! NO!". But it was nothing, I just popped the piece back in and nothing happened, but it scared the hell out of me. Apart from that, I didn't have any problems with any plastic piece. MP Prime is an excellent toy, but you probably already know that. If you don't have it...what are you waiting for?!

Well I think MP Convoy is the best transformers toy EVER!!!!Dead on details,suspension,die-cast,moving mouthpiece, etc. However I do have a few problem with the toy.1)The knee joints are loose on mine.2)The hydraulic joints and feet joint will sometimes pop off if you put too much pressure on it during transformation.3)Most poses that MPC can do can actually cause him to topple over, even if the feet are even.MPC is also floppy,so watch out displaying him.4)The head compartment in the top back and the head ocassionaly pop off sometimes but are very easy to put back in.Despite these flaws MPC is the best Transformers toy to date(in my opinion even topping over the Armada Unicron,).

Y'know - embarrassingly enough, this is one of those holy-grail toys I never got. Kinda held out for two reasons: retail for the Hasbro one was too expensive and for whatever the reason, the time never seemed right for me to get an import version either. And now the average eBay price on an import is insane and ironically, I can't seem to find the Hasbro one anywhere anymore (except at the local comicbook shop - which ironically, is still at the same price as normal retail). I might break down and pick it up next week though...
I guess all this time I've just been sort of afraid of being disappointed by either version. Optimus is sort of a childhood role-model to me more than any other cultural icon. There just can't be a "perfect" toy of him. To me, anyway...

Well he's close to being perfect, the only way he could get better was if he transformed himself and scored chicks for me ;D

Well he's close to being perfect, the only way he could get better was if he transformed himself and scored chicks for me ;D Haha ;D That and if he came with an official trailer that transformed into the battle deck like G1 Prime did. Also, I think they could have made his neck a little better, and they should have simply made his gun flat black instead of grey and blue, but that's just nitpicking. Otherwise, I rate Masterpiece Convoy as a solid 99/100.

Well that and the MP line should be close to perfect. The biggest flaw that I've heard about is the MP Ultra Magnus. Not only is he a repaint but I've seen paint smudges and missing/broken parts on some of them in reviews.Well aside from that, the MP Line should come up with another completey new molded/painted figure instead of a repaint.(ex:MP Megatron.).

Personally I didn't have problems with my Master Piece Convoy, but I know people who had problems with the paint in the metal parts like legs and chest of their MP Ultra Magnus when they transformed it.

The new trailer is suppose to be a high quality piece, but other than look good and hold a couple Alternators/Binaltech's it really doesn't do much.
