Thanks to Seibertron's GetterDragun, we now have unpainted prototype photos of the upcoming Alternators Ironhide! The toy features Ironhide's classic mug, and transforms into a Scion xB, also known as the Toyota bB in Japan. Note that this is a prototype, and colors will most likely change! "Possibly Ironhide" No, I don't think anybody knows yet for sure who it's going to be, but the alt mode, head, and transformation closely resemble Ironhide's.

Yeah the head really ressembles Ironhide, though not to keen on the bot mode. Still better than it's G1 counterpart

There's also speculation that it could be Skids. I don't know, a Scion for Ironhide? I thought that Takara had the Dodge Ram license and that there was a red pick-up proto. shown at Toyfair. I think a Ram would suite Ironhide's personality and look more.

I agree, a Ram would fit Ironhide's likeness. As for Skids, I was hoping he would be a Civic Si hatchback, since he was originally a Civic wagon and they already have Honda in the BT/Alt line up.
It's interesting that Scion will soon become part of the BT/Alts. I wonder if there will be any Toyotas planned to get the TF treatment.

More Toyota's as Alts/BT's would be O.K if they actually had some exciting cars. Since Toyota stop making the Supra ten years ago and are getting rid of the MR2 and Celica next year all that's left are Camry's, Corolla's and there trucks and SUV's. Maybe Tak/Has could use the Land Cruiser as Brawn or Windcharger but I don't think too many people would get excited about a Prius or Echo that turned into Cliffjumper ;D

BTW, isn't this car marketed as the "Scion" in the united states?
