Hello Folks I received today my 20th Anniversary Optimus. The piece itself is marvelous, comparing to my old one (In fact I use to have Ultra Magnus and my best friend Optimus). But I have a a few questions for you guys. About stacks. I know they're smaller then the Takara Masterpiece, but I've found some on eBay for longer stack. What do you think about them? Posing Optimus. This thing is so heavy it has problem standing on it's feet. It's not like SOC that are quite smaller. If I make it stand perfectly right, it seem he want to fall in front, so I manage a dynamic pose. So I'd like advice for the best way to make it stand, I don't want him to fall. Any advice? Transforming: That is a real challenge. He is way more complicated then G1 toys but I'm an adult now. I'll get use to it. Finally: Next to the wheels the is a chrome tank. When transforming they say to press the thing, but nothing happen. What is it suppose to do? Here is some pics to illustrate the standing position.

MP Prime is an awsome piece of engineering. I've seen those smoke stack extenders, I think there just metel tubing you add to the top of the originals. As for posing you kinda have too keep his legs spread and knee's bent but he really won't tip if your careful. As for the chrome gas tank, when you transform Prime into truck mode you press the tanks and push his legs up so there shorter, just make sure his legs are straight when you do this.

Try pressing the lower half of the gas tank, and not the whole thing. Once you do that it's easier to transform. Also at first trasforming this piece is complicated, but overtime, you'll transform it often, you won't need the instructions. However when transforming 20 Prime(in my case MP Convoy) just watch out for the plastic parts as they touch each other(sometimes) and may leave minor scratches.

Thanks for the advice. Prime is really the best robot ever created toy-wise. It's really beautiful, and I really like the battle damaged color.
I must say I'm quite happy with the American version. If I had bought it on launch, I may have bought the Takara version, but with time Hasbro lost value while Takara got more expensive. The solution; I just bought new chrome stack. They are replacing stacks, I must remove the old one and replace with new one that are longuer. They were factory made using the same materiel. Well for 10$ it's worth the try.

Couldn't resist. Took it out of the box yesterday and he is indeed a marvel of engineering. Of course so was the packaging. Any one know of any cool uses for twist-ties?

Save the twist ties and use them for something else(Use it to hold pencils or shut a box,or even use them on your toys if you repackage them). However I find the packaging of most TF toys to be annoying and they are very frustrating to get out of. In the future,Takara (or at least HASBRO)should use the style of BANDAI's packaging.....STYROFOAM TRAYS!!!!!

i could not agree more, at least then you have packaging that's not all mangled and you can re-pack for storage, selling etc.
