Cool. It looks alot like the Taiwan bootlegs about 10 years ago (at least the head).
I think there was a thread in the fan art section regarding metal prototyping.

Very retro looking Mazinger! Thanks for the pics! }D Thats exactly what I love about it, it looks like it traveled through time to us lol. Not bad for a basically "home made" project. It was a "lunch time special" , so imagine what he could do if he can do it legitimately. Like Ed said, it's like the Taiwan verison and maybe it is because this was molded from an actual figure.

Try Shapeways. I've been trying it, but I still can't get their 3D format right even if I use CAD formats like .DXF I'll keep trying and I'll PM you some help. Late edit: I forgot to mention I really LUV that Mazinger. Great job with it, it definitely speaks wonders. Great paintjob and color standout, too. 5 out of 5 Thumbs Up! zozo-Magengar

Great paintjob and color standout, too. 5 out of 5 Thumbs Up! zozo-Magengar I actually had you in mind cause Ive seen some 3D stuff of yours. I think for now I will just try and work around the base Mazinger body and make my own head sculpt. However I may need help with figure renders for the illustrations. I imagine it could become very expensive and for now I dont plan on doing it for the money, I just wanna design my own little gokin and maybe sell a couple off to people that are interested. I was told it would be a very limited run if his work lets him do it. I wouldnt think it would be more than 10-15 pieces in total. I want to make up boxes for it though and foam inserts to make it very vintagey. I plan on having 99% of the work done in Colombia and the paint here. So basically they would come here in full metal form. Ive been getting handy with the sculpey so I will give the head sculpt a shot soon....although I have no idea what its going to look like! Horns? antennas? bubble brain? should be fun.
