Hey guys,
With the Yamato sale at HLJ, i'm thinking of picking up a VF-22 Max and Milia but it seems they don't come with stands. I'd like to display them in Valkyrie mode and the Flightpose stands seem pretty neat. Has anyone used these before? Do you think they are strong enough support a VF22 and which size do you prefer? Also, anyone have a good alternative? I like the Yamato stands but they are kind of pricey and I'd like something in clear plastic so it looks like its actually in flight and not attached to a giant mechanical arm. Thanks!

They should be sturdy enough to support the weight of a VF-22, a lot members over at Macrossworld use these stands for a variety of different fighters plus I've even seen a SOC Daitarn and a 1/3000 Macross posed on one. So if there secure enough to hold those figures it can hold almost any Valk. As for which size I guess that depends on what you prefer and how much display space you have. Personally I'd get a variety of sizes just to keep things different, but I did hear that you shouldn't over tighten the screws or you may crack the acrylic.

There's some talk about these stands affecting the paint on valks as well. You might want to look into that.
