Wow, ankle articulation, didn't expect that. Neat! Emerje Yes! I'm realizing, since a real-life front end loader earthmover has that center pivot as it's main steering mechanism, the original Diaclone toy could easily have had that too. But. ...of course the rest of the toy would make it pointless. The tractor design, and even some cement truck , and dump truck chassis designs make the ankle pivot a natural. Glad that's in there.

Hmm, with these new pictures he might actually be smaller than expected. The Prime he's holding is one of those "Targetmaster" figures that I think are between Legend and Scout size and it looks quite large in his hands. And the figure standing next to him is their new Power Core Combiner project which looks rather big as well. Still a huge figure, but maybe not as big as we once thought?
BTW, Dr. Crank sounds like a terrible DJ name.

Yeah, kind of hard to tell the scale as the photos are all at an angle to the Power-Core-Combiner, so the perspective is skewed... I don't recognize that little Optimus Prime, however... hmm. As for "Dr. Crank" ...the first thing to come to mind is... "next time, Gadget, next time!" Edit: A-ha - I found a video review of the "Targetroid" figures here tfsource.com/products/view/product_id/2110/ and now thinking that if the review has... normal sized hands, then the Targetroids are just about 2-3 inches tall - no more than 10cm. So to extrapolate, we can guess that Devy will be somewhere around 35cm-40cm tall - that is, looks to me that the Targetroid is about the height of Devy's forarm - which is about half the total length of the arm - in turn it hangs down to the top of Devy's knees...

Near as I can tell, The TFCC Devastator was always supposed to be about 12 inches/30 cm, which this looks about on mark for.

I was gonna say, since seeing the first pictures of the combined form, they stand it behind the Primars boxes. Primars boxes are 5 inches wide, stacking two that way is 10 inches, and it's definitely taller than that. But we were assuming that this one would be close to two feet tall, and that's not happening. They looked to be scaled down, because the first pictures we were shown, the one arm was the size of a bottle of water. Not that I don't like it in this scale because this would put it slightly bigger than FP Bruticus and the pair would look awesome together.
TFC Reflector better be worth it. I past on the PE version, simply because they were too small and having own the Rumble and Frenzy, and seen the Ninja and Bat, I'm not all that impress with PE's quality, especially their sloppy paint and poor uneven like plastic quality.

Yah - it's funny because it could be argued that prototypes are always sculpted a bit bigger than the final version, but in this case we saw that the unpainted prototypes were also connected onto their compatible combiner joints... But then there're also those earlier photos with the crane constructicon (whatever they've renamed him) in one of the first photos and it looks huge compared to that black drinking cup in the background... But these latest photos throw all assumptions back up in the air.

Yeah, that's pretty much the price a lot of us were expecting, maybe even less. £49.95 to £54.95 or $82USD to $90USD each or $492USD to $540USD for the set. That's pretty much what Springer sold for. People pay more just for armor for existing figures, I think we're getting off cheap.

Its a hard price to swallow, but its a fair price. Likely out of my budget, though if I can swing it I will.

Given the price, I think this is what most people will do:

"what can I sell from my place ?... the couch ? No to old... the TV ? mmmmh... my wife won't apreciate ? The kitten ?... no way... My Starwars Lego ?... why not... no... they are for my future kids... I have to find some gold... but where"
The price is ok but TFC should sell each of the 6 separatly and space them each month or maybe sell them in a buddle of pair. The better way is to create some groupbuy per country (because of shipping). I am in for France... anyone ? ^__^

At least they are individual figures and not all in one set. That would make it a bit easier to get.
Let's just hope the quality would justify the prices.

I am willing to pay the price, but I am concerned about the way they are releasing these. If they don't sell as many as they need to, they may can the project half way through. I would hate to be stuck with a half not-Devestator. Since this is 3rd party and not Hasbro, they have a lot fewer resouces to throw at this and they would be less concerned about ticking off the fans that started the set.

Not July! I have no extra money to spend in July! I really hope they push it back to August.
