As for me, I'm lucky there are no RD Eva exclusives announced as of yet, and I guess no DOTM toys for a while.
But if there'll be releases each month... I... really... need... to... get... a... job...!! Or I won't make it for six months back to back...!

I'm looking at the RobotKingdom listing again... am I reading that package size right? 4'x8"x8"? That's got to be a typo.

Emerje Nope, it should be correct because they were the ones that was displaying it at Botcon. And seeing this up close, it's around the same size as Warbot. I am assuming that the Height and width of the box as eight, and the length at four. Most likely it will be sold in robot mode and it needs the extra couple of inches deep to fit the crane thing on his back. my picture is clearer Definitely get it from Robotkingdom because even with shipping, it is still cheaper.

They wrote 4 feet. I've got some old Kaiyodo figures with ridiculously large backer cards, but not any that are 4 feet tall. Emerje

Are Robot Kingdom's shipping costs high? Because I heard they are too high.

I am hoping this figure can be taller than 12" tall. If each individual bot is supposedly comparable to the size of FP's Warbot Defender (6"), then the combined big guy's size has to be taller than 12".

Are Robot Kingdom's shipping costs high? Because I heard they are too high. Robot Kingdom makes up for its lower prices in shipping costs, similar to the common ebay practice of putting up an item for below cost but putting a $25-30 shipping charge on it (when it might cost only $10 to move). Even at Botcon, they basically priced everything up that they were selling by the equivalent shipping cost. The Sonicron (memo-taker Soundwave) that they're taking orders on that's priced at $59, for example, they were selling limited quantities of for $79. Robot Kingdom'll still probably be a liiiittle cheaper than BBTS, but it won't be a particularly significant amount. Even less so if you combine this guy at BBTS in a Pile of Loot shipment.

Are Robot Kingdom's shipping costs high? Because I heard they are too high. My experience with them has been that the amount you get charged for shipping, normally brings the items up to the price that BBTS charges with shipping. That's what happened with my Perfect Effect God Sword and Knight Morpher

The only reason I don't pre order that many things from robotkingdom is because they only accept paypal, and you pretty much have to pay up front. Otherwise, I've had good experiences ordering from them. I wrote my name down for one of the black PE Reflectors and is waiting for them to email me back.

Through RK, I paid US$ 30.72 for EMS shipping for 1 ex... They are probably the cheapest on Transfomers toy, but shipping is not really cheap... Btw, they are very reliable and handling is on top.

I am having a hard time making that preorder. I keep changing my mind before I finish it. This basically commits you to a $600 3rd party figure (set). If I had a final review or more final product pics, I may have a few less concerns, but $600 is just such a high price to pay.

Honestly, well just in my case, I could care less for the official hasbro or takara stuff. Especially now that it is pretty much all TF3 movie stuff. Only reason I got some of the official stuff is because they are cheap and super affordable. In the end, these are toys and are targeted toward little kids, unlike true collectibles like chogokins. Without third parties, I wouldn't have a need for the white classics optimus they dub ultra magnus. I would have no need for a Classics hot rod. And I believe the rotf bruticus and superion would be on clearance shelf over at ross. Fact is, that laser RtS prime was so ugly, I gave one of them away. Then comes maketoy, a division of fansproject, and the freakin RtS Laser Prime are no where to be found. Luckily, I still see them at Frys electronics stores at retail.
Basically, I can justify the price of 3rd party item because these were created and marketed to collectors.

LOL! I love that yoga pose... more Transforming robots should be designed with tails in their bot modes. I am having a hard time making that preorder. I keep changing my mind before I finish it. Yeah, I want to see reviews first. So far we can only assume that TFC will put the same kind of QC into this as their previous figures like the chibi-Prime (which seemed pretty solid). If I can be assured that this first not-constructicon can be awesome, then I would have no problem placing a pre-order for the second one (and third and fourth and so on...)
