I'll have to hope a VF-17 gets discounted at HLJ eventually... I only just picked up a VF-19 Kai w/ sound booster the other day because it was discounted enough for me to get, and even then altogether it was north of $300 shipped. Crazy!
EDIT: The Kai is totally worth the price - very solid transformation (light years ahead of the YF-19), and it looks GREAT in fighter and battroid (not a big gerwalk fan generally).

The 17S was actually on sale during the Macross sale event at HLJ at the end of June. I picked one up along with the 19S at 30% off. Love them both. VF-19S was particularly impressive!

The 17S was 30% off? That makes it ~$220ish before shipping, which I guess is tolerable. I'm not sure if I'd wait for a similar discount on the 17S again or wait longer for the 17D to hit 30% off... not being too familiar with M7, which is the more 'iconic' Valk?

I'm not sure as I haven't found time to watch M7 yet, loving the valkyries that are coming out of it though. My guess would be the S as he is the Roy Focker equivalent. Now that the super pack is available separately, the S is a no brainer for me since I like how it looks much better. |

I just recently picked this guy up and while the figure itself is great, I am pretty disappointed in Yamato's lack of tampo markings on the figure.
They did provide a huge sheet of stickers with it, all numbered, but no where could I find a sticker guide. Anyone know of a guide for the sticker sheet?
Also, what if any experience do people have with the stickers? I am hesitant to apply them just to have them dry out and peel 3 months later.

Here's my review of the Super Parts...they're nice but expensive considering it's just four pieces.

Nice review!! The super packs make the bulky VF-17 even more bad ass. Love it!! I do think that it's very expensive for what it is, but it appears to be nicely engineered.   |
