I just put together my GX-61. Man, that was fun. It was challenging but not frustrating. A good robot to end the SOC line.

Mazfan dont put out FALSE info like that unless you work for Bandai. It is certainly at this point 100% conjecture on your part to say the SOC line has ended, and you know it.You are already confusing Mr.Mionac.

The SOC line can't end... at least not until Mazinkaiser, Shin Getter(s), Dangaioh, and SRX are released!!! ;D

Ooopppsss.... Sorry. I first read about the possible SOC ending on this board. I just assumed that most people know about the possibility.
It was a matter of wishful thinking on my part about the end. I was just thinking out loud.
Back to GX-61.... It's an engineering marvel. Not quite as impressive as Gunbuster.... But it is still impressive. This is why I love the SOC line!

Wishful thinking?? why if your a collector and love the line?and you also said it doesnt cut into your income? Is it not enough room?LOL EDIT: just read your other post..I dont think the SOC line will move fast enough to take up your whole house haha! Im sure youll be fine.Anyhow they have to at least release TRYDER G-7 still and DAIKENGO,I think DIAPOLON is more up CM's alley.Hopefully a Mazinkaiser too from SOC,and the others The MazingerZ mentioned too.cuz I like to see my friends happy!but hopefully they do my first 2 choices because Im greedy like that.

I just finally got my Daioja, and while I wasn't impressed upon first opening the box, The individual robots seemed a little flimsy, and finicky to keep standing, the combined Daioja is amazing, and I'd say it's pretty far up my list of favorites from the SOC line.

HobbySearch currently has this on sale for 11000 JPY, along with quite a few other items.

There's SRC I was on fence about on "Bargain." How's HobbySearch? I never ordered from them....

I've ordered from Hobby Search before, they are good. Not knowing the exact shipping cost until you place the order kind of sucks, but it is the same way with Amiami. I was v ery tempted to order the Daioja for that price, but it turns out that looking at the EMS shipping chart they have, I would estimate it to be around $200 or even a little more once everything is said and done. }D

I just purchased him from AmiAmi last week as well. He was on sale I think 12300 yen. I jumped on it at that point as I had passed on it originally because of price. But EMS shipping was $70US! He is a cool piece of engineering but there are some serious flaws in my opinion. He is not very steady on his feet and is very flimsy. Not much metal in him at all. All the add on parts come off if you look at them funny. If it had not been for the outrageous shipping I would say he is worth what I paid. But the shipping.......WOW.

Nothing is loose on mine. You sure you put it on right? The leg add ons are hard to put on but once it's put on correctly they stay put pretty well.
In my opinion this is one of the more impressive piece in the SOC lineup.
