i think the subject of golion should be another thread as this topic is about daioja and srx.
with regards to golion, why ANOTHER version of golion? i think the toynami piece has done a superb job of capturing the robot's likeness. there are other robots out there worthy of being turned into soc's or src's.

The Toynami is awesome indeed, but not anime accurate. I would like to see a combining Golion that once it is assembled it looks exactly like on the cartoon - no lion legs showing, white legs instead of black, and black & blue mask... And I don't care who makes it, just make it happen!

Gx-61 is now said to be daiojah! Anymore info? A bunch of new mecha showed in Tamashii Nation Japan but no sign or prototype of GX-61. Only King J-Der from GGG series shown, but i think that's not SOC line ^^

Wow, a big size King J-der? That would be an item to look out for. Wouldn't that be too big for SRC? But if its non-transforming, then its not that fun.

I'd really be surprised if they put out a King J-Der, but then again, they've done ludicrously sized toys as Tamashii web exclusives plenty of times before. I really wouldn't be interested though if it were non-transforming. King J-Der has a really simple transformation and it'd be a waste to make a large figure that couldn't take advantage of it.
I'm more interested in this "confirmation" about Daioja? I wouldn't mind if it were the case. I'm liking all the money I'm saving on SOCs being freed up for other toylines.

Daioja has been confirmed, but photos have not been allowed yet at the tamashi fes panel, but maybe later within the week bandai will at least show blue prints if not actual prototypes. Or maybe thru other venues like hobby magazines if they have a particular agreement for it. There are a lot of names thrown around the festival including zeorymer, aquarion, armored core et. al but we have yet to see actual pics. Also amiami blog mentioned daiojah at the bottom of it's godsigma pics and that it is prohibited from having its picture taken. www.blog.amiami.com/amiblo/2011/07/2011-3.htmlSpecifically: ●超合金魂 GX-60 ゴッドシグマ ずっと撮影禁止だった「ゴッドシグマ」がついに解禁! 次弾はさがれさがれさがれさがりおろう 「ダイオージャ」!! ( ダイオージャは撮影禁止でした) The red texts are read as daioja Yeah I know what you mean, I would've preferred srx, daiapolon or albegas over him.

I hope it's Daioja I just love the look of it and we could always use more Clover designs in the SOC line. I also love how people say that if it's a certain robot they don't know or like they will skip it but always end up getting it because no matter the subject the basic figure is just really good.

Well, if it turns out that the next SOC is indeed Daioja, it will only mean that I get to keep money in my wallet until something else is released. Not a Daioja fan at all.
So, if the rumors are true, then THANK YOU for the break Bandai!

Don't forget that daioja is the no. 1 winner on the soc polls sharing the spot with daltanius but it still depends on how they update it into soc form. poor execution always translate to poor sales. The japanese sure look happy with his announcement though, daioja seems to be big in japan the way i look at it. The silver lining though is that all robots from 1-4 of the soc poll spot are now made into socs, no.5 is srx. Not sure from what I read, the new aquarion and zeorymer might be released as either src or yet on another unconfirmed new chogokin line called super robot gold but treat this with a TON of salt, until we hear an official announement. edit: can get the youtube vid to show.

Yeah if I based my collecting only on robots I know about or watched the anime etc., that would really be limiting myself. I have tons of robots in my collection I know absolutely NOTHING about but they are just too cool to pass up. I could really care less about watching their cartoons. A cool figure is a cool figure
