i got this figure and its awesome! I was shocked when i found out Tamashii Garo was a lot smaller.
The only thing i hate is knowing that getting ZERO will be alot more expensive.

Yup I've got him and he's awesome. I wish he was a little shinier but its cool. And like mechaleleng 2.0 said it sucks that Zero is going to be a Tamashii web exclusive so the price is going to be through the roof.

I actually really wanted Zero, but I don't know if I can swallow that Tamashii exclusive price tag.

Bandai really loves to troll. Yeah, certainly seems so. First Zero's a Tamashii Web Exclusive and now this. Could it have killed Bandai to include that broad sword in the initial release? Guess they left that out to gouge fans later with this exclusive craziness. Ah well, I know I won't be able to pay what they want for GARO on release, but I might be able to swing Zero given the right release schedule and finances. Zero preorder... p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000010002/Garo River Knight version: p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000010395

Basically, those figures are like an SIC version 1.5. There won't be any gimmick that would allow you to dissemble the figure to make the human form. the biggest improvement Bandai listed is the totally revamped joints and articulation. So same sculpt, better articulation and effect parts. Furthermore, they're SIC size so 18cm.

now with the SHF Garo out, its bringing down prices on earlier Garo versions. I found a Souchaku Henshin Garo for cheap, from some reviews online its a good purchase. Anyone else have one of these?

This figure has passed me by many times. I keep finding ways to miss out on it. I hear it's really nice. From the looks of it looks quite show accurate. I've also heard that the Souchaku Henshin figures are sort of the precursor to the SHFiguarts. Any truth to that!? Very excited about the new Makai Kadou Garo line. Can't wait to see more of these new figures.
