While PSN online play and profile info has been up since mid May, the Store is back up today as of typing this. Maybe now I can get Arcana Heart 3 this weekend! blog.us.playstation.com/2011/06/01/playstation-store-is-available-and-updated-now/Looks like there's updates galore too. Errors may be encountered accessing certain content, but just work through it and it comes up eventually. Looks like the updates are going to be more real time. I think Sony would like to get most of the last month and 1/2s content up asap.

They promised to make multiple updates across the first week. But I notice the "New Releases" section is a little messed up with some "new" stuff not even listed. I've been looking forward to the Marvel Pinball add-on table, Fantastic Four and I had to look under the Add-Ons section to find it even though it should be "New" because it came out during the outage (but the "New Releases" section has stuff from before outage still listed).
We'll see when the freebies are posted... I have my eye on LBP, of course. Not sure what else to get. And I'm also a PSP user so a couple of free games for that doesn't hurt either.

I'm just glad for Sony that they got that store up and working before E3 next week. That's gonna be a PR nightmare anyways with all the crazyness going on.
I think I'm going to go for Wipeout HD/Fury as my no. 1 freebie and maybe try a demo of PBP as I keep hearing it's pretty awesome. Just can't get past this "sack boy" as the main character... If not that, Dead Nation and Super Stardust HD look good. Looking forward to a months worth of PS+ at least.
Not sure about the PSP titles. Definitely Killzone Liberation and maybe LBP if I like the demo...
Oh, I did wind up getting the Wizardry demo...still need to try that out.

The freebie Zombie game was already on my list of games to get. I already have LBP and Infamous. Both of which are excellent games, so consider them.

and as of 8pm it was down again - or at least very unstable... I guess everyone's jumping on-line now that the freebies have been posted. Come one, people! You have like a whole month... don't overload the poor service just getting back on its feet!

Yeah, think I'll wait a bit or so to get my free stuff . Servers are MEGA-jammed. Error city! Lots of reports of people loosing their first or second game choices then having to perform a song and dance with the Xmedia Bar to try and retrieve them. On another note, I did manage to pick up AH3 though. Really fun stuff!

Yay - now downloading Little Big Planet.
A note to save everyone some time and frustration (the instructions aren't very clear when you go to get your free games)... When you get into the "Welcome Back" area, you can click on "Free Game 1" (well, there's 4; 2 for PS3 games and 2 for PSP games). Each of those will give you a page to pick a game. When you're in the page for the game, DO NOT CLICK "Download." If you do you get some error code. You need to click "Add to Cart" instead. When you add it, the Store will automatically bring you back to the "Free Game 1" page and now there will be a "Get it Now" button to click. Click to finalize your choice and now you can go back to your Cart and click the game to download it. When you get back to the "Welcome Back" area, that free game icon you just used will be gone.
Now do the same thing for "Free Game 2" and if you have a PSP, use the third and fourth icons.
