I wonder why he pulled it, was he expecting more or did he get in trouble. I'm betting some guy e-mailed him and said I'd give X amount in dollars and the seller took it.

That's a good question. I've seen Centurions prototypes where the winning bidder is from Kenner (the toys maker) so maybe they bid on stuff they want back or they let these things go but later decide they want them back in case some bootleggers get ahold of them.
