Oh yeah, I try to go every year. It was awesome as usual. This year I focused my time pretty much in the dealers room, though I did check out some of the other offerings. There was a great discussion on Godzilla vs Hedorah as well as a fun and informative panel led by August Ragone on Yokai in Japanese cinema and television. there is also a costume show and models and artwork on display. I didn't talk to any of the celebrity guests this year but I have in past G-Fests. It was a lot of fun.

And of course there is the Pickwick Theatre here in Park Ridge that plays kaiju films all weekend.

I'd love to go one of these days. Any vintage vinyls in the dealer's room? And were they priced fairly? Got any pics of the costumes or other stuff? I saw your pickups in the other threads - nice!
