I have a red ninja captor I found at a flea market years ago. He's missing the plastic icon thing that attaches to his face mask but he's in good shape otherwise. I can't find much mention of these Ninja Captor dudes online. What do they go for? I'll snap a pic and post it up soon.
Thank you and I'm glad to be aboard!
(I'm a novice collector who has some Shogun Warriors including Rodan, a few other Popy chogokin, old Voltrons, vintage japanese tin bots, and Godzilla stuff.)

Hey there,
I'm new to the site so I could be wrong about this. I'm gonna go out on a limb though and suggest that the reason you aren't getting any responses is because you are a new user and your first posts are asking for people to price it for you. I'm guessing you want to sell it which is why you are asking. People are very nice around here, but I think they take umbrage with new users who do that. Heck, I've had a hard time getting values of stuff just out of curiosity and for stuff I want to buy. Your best bet is to just post it on eBay with some ridiculous price and see what offers you get. If it doesn't sell after awhile then I'd go ahead and auction it off. You could also call some of the stores in the thread that recommends dealers and see what they would pay for it and evaluate from there. They may even just tell you what it's worth up front if you ask. Good luck with it though!

Welcome to RJ! Value is very subjective for loose incomplete toys. If you are looking to sell it, your best bet is just to list it on ebay for a low starting bid and let the market determine value. If you are planning on keeping it and are just curious about value, I seem to recall boxed ones going for about $150 - $250. But that is a MIB toy. This is worth substantially less.

Honestly, I figured I was getting few responses because people haven't seen this particular chogokin for sale. I also thought people might dig seeing something fairly uncommon. I don't know where else I'd go on the web to figure out how much something like this is worth since I've never seen one for sale. I don't think experts on this site are offended by my asking this question and if they are they shouldn't be.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I don't know if i want to sell this toy since it is literally the first chogokin I ever bought. I picked it up at a flea market in rural South Dakota in the early nineties.

See here: robotjapan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Popychogokin&action=display&thread=18328Trying to ascertain the value of an item you are keeping is one thing. Many feel that trying to use the boards just to sell crap at auction isn't cool. Personally, I'm of mixed emotions - I can see both sides. But you don't always know a person's intentions, so I usually just try to help out regardless. It is good to hear you are keeping this and it has sentimental value to you. Also, its good tyo see you have varies tastes! I'm also a robot AND kaiju fanatic, as are many others here.
