I was wondering if there is an actual reason, other than just repaint a regular getter-1, to even release a black (non-ryoma) getter-1. if they are following aoshima or bandai's footsteps in making color variants it will get way more expensive to keep up with the ex-gokin line. just imagine every current release being released again as a black repaint!

To be honest, I'm surprised they haven't announced the black repaints already. Simple money maker and all they have to do is change the paint and call them exclusives. Tons of people will bite!

The fact that Fewture waited this long is likely because they sort of know it's a breach of their integrity as to the Ryoma being a "limited edition".. but if you need money, this is the ticket. They know buyers are basically guaranteed, and the need for new molds to put this thing out is minimal. Easy money. |

Wasn't the first Black Getter slightly taller than Getter 1 because of some tweaks to Getter 1 to make it more stable? If so then this new Black Getter will probably be based of the tweaked Getter 1 design and is not just a straightforward re-issue of the first Black Getter.

same here. I perfer the grey color than purple. Personally I perfare the purple and white on the original but it's not something worth complaining about. Hope BBTS put him soon. |
