There was mention that the cape was going to be remolded in ABS instead of PVC rubber. That might be what it's referring to. The weight of the capes on the Fewture Getter 1's is a major problem for their weak waist joints.

Hope I didn't drive Fewture's potential buyers away with the omission ;D |

Thanks for the info Borg001. BTW I really hope that Fewture will also reissue the 1969 1st version of the Mazinger & Great Mazinger which can combine their individual sword to a big sword & the Cannon that comes with the first version of Getter One. They are really expensive in the secondary market. Sorry for being off topic. I think it not going to happened, Until now, Fewture did not reissue any of the product under EX gokin line only repaint...And Mazinger 1969 mold already use 3 times include the incoming Energer.. Well I was hoping at least Fewture will reissue the sword that the 1st Mazinger & Great Mazinger had & the Getter One canon. I am pretty sure that there are lots of dude who wants it as well as I do.  |

I kind of knew the Getter Special Weapons were gonna be rare in the long run, so I got the Missile Machine Gun and the Giant Tomahawk as soon as Angolz had them for pre-order. I was also able to get the Red Scramble Dash with the two regular swords for Great Mazinger. These were standard with the repaint, but I didn't wanna pay for another set of Mazingers just to get the new wings and swords. The huge combination sword that came with the original Mazingers is very cool indeed, but I don't think it particularly goes well with them. Still, it is good to have it anyway.

Initially I don't really like the design of it but somehow as time goes by I became more & more attracted to it. Lucky for you & those dude who brought it when the price was reasonable.

Getterget thanks for the translation. Can you please also translate what the yellow text in the middle of the pic means? The one with an arrow pointing to getter1? There's a mention of. Something like destroy new bad magnet? Cant really make out what it means.

Is it me or does the Black Getter 1 just look meaner than the Ryoma version? With these mix and match parts I can't wait to see what people come up with to make their own personalized Black Getter.

The yellow words says "The magnetic knee caps called Destroy Knee Pad can be detached to change into Black version of Getter 1". I like the cool names they use to describe Black Getter's parts, e.g. Destroy Knee Pads, Scale Schneider, Claw of Death. These names are original and very badass! |
