Same company, GSC owns Max Factory, Freeing, Gift, Phat, ThreeA, and probably some others I'm not thinking of. Freeing doesn't really have much presence and tends to just sell under GSC since the bulk of their products are accessories for figma, Nendos, and others.

Looks cute.
It seems toy companies in this hobby are jumping on the "mini-me" trend lately. ;D

For people that are interested to get this figure i'd highly recommend NOT to get it as it's made of REALLY brittle pvc material and the joints are tight as hell.
Made me sweat a bunch just to get them combined without breaking anything. The bear machine has 2 really thin plastic that requires you to shift/move the part just to get it 'transformed' and ready to combine with jaguar and eagle machines.
It's really hard not to break anything and trust me you'll not enjoy transforming/playing with it without the thoughts of breaking anything.

i was not planning to get it but thank you for the warning! Well if you're into the playability, you'd love it as it highly resembles SHE's perfect change getter but for 8800 yen it seriously isn't worth it due to the durability of the materials used. But well if you're paying for the engineering of the toy you might say yes but well still not worth that hefty price tag from my point of view as it seriously lack the poseability. If only they had incorporated some die-cast in it for some parts it'll be worth that price tag.

Woot, messed with it tonight. It's true that it feels fragile, but the complicated transformation definitely warrants small parts that would unfortunately feel fragile. Some of the transformation is at the studio halfeye (SHE) level and a lot more complicated than I had previously expected. The paint app and color is vibrant and don't look cheap at all. It's actually very glossy. Once put together each mode feels very sturdy and doesn't fall apart thanks to the various locking mechanism. I can pick it up in any getter mode and handle it as one piece, much much better than the SHE getter in this regard. Each of the three getter bots has good resemblance to the show, which is also more than the SHE getter can say (the SHE Getter looks fantastic as Getter 1, not so much the other 2). The packaging is pretty awesome. It's one of the more original and interesting packaging I've seen for awhile. It's a clear cylinder with each getter machines highlighted in each of the three see through windows. The instructions does a pretty great job walking through the transformation. The bad, getter 1 and getter 2 canNOT stand on its own. Both are too back heavy to do so. No stands are included either. Getter 3 of course has no problems thanks to the treads. Articulation is limited. No elbow joints in all three getters. I dont think it has much of a knee joint either in any modes. As stated above, this needs to be handled with care because of its fragility. If you have sausage fingers, this is not for you. QC wise, one of the getter machine has a small paint bleed on the cockpit window, no other issue I can think of. Personally I think getter 2 looks the best, while getter 3 is the most sturdy and fun just because it can stand by itself. Getter 1 is my least favorite. Don't like how the shoulder joint works. The shoulder ball joint kept popping off during transformation, particularly when transforming to Getter 1. I paid less than 7000 yen before shipping, and think its worth every penny, if only for the clever engineering. The execution is good. The fact that it stays as one piece in all modes is impressive and better done than the SHE Getter for less than 20% of the cost. Overall I'd recommend this piece if you enjoy transformation and are a fan of getter robo in general. Just need to handle it with care and don't expect it to do any dynamic poses at all. Nothing like this has ever been done at this price range before, and most didn't think it could be done at all! I feel that it gets the job done very well considering each getter machines is essentially a quadruple changer, and is the size of roughly 2/3 of a deck of cards.

Got it! Wicked engineering for the size, but certainly not worth the price tag. Could have use some die-cast parts (and a stand, if necessary). I hope we someday get a S.H.E.-inspired version with die-cast.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but got a crazy deal from US Amazon yesterday for the GSC Dynamic Change R Getter Robo for $123.53, sold by Amazon. I've had this in "Saved for Later" my cart for weeks, just out of curiosity and hoping for it to dip below 200 at some point, and then I got an email from Amazon showing it for $123.53. Sure enough, the price was real and I bought one. Immediately thought about getting a 2nd or 3rd for displaying the 3 modes but the price jumped back up to $196.82. This is not the small scale strange proportioned version, but the 2017 "R" ver., which also has die-cast (according to GSC website). Screenshot of the deal: imgur.com/a/CSU7JSome info from GSC page: Manufacturer FREEing Price ¥22,962 (Before Tax) Release Date 2017/08Specifications Painted ABS/Diecast complete product. Not to scale. Approximately 80mm x 95mm in width (Getter Machines). Approximate Heights: Getter 1 - 195mm / Getter 2 - 182mm /Getter 3 - 105mmPics of the figure from GSC:
