I tried to search for a thread I think I saw on here 6-7 months ago that pointed out the differences between the Japanese and Taiwanese versions... Can someone link it or help me understand the difference? Looks like a color difference (Taiwanese has a lot of green?), and the "legs" are split?

Huh, thread's here somewhere, just don't remember what title was under. Anyway, John, for GodMarz, the knockoff is "GodTRON" The knockoff colors are a little brighter candy-ish. I remember noticing most the red /blue on the chest of Sphinx robot, being more orange-y, and yeah, brighter green arm.
