Makes sence since Takara/Tommy is already releasing Broadcast/Blaster they might as well throw in some different coloured plastic, make a small modifaction to his cassette door and bingo you have a brand new figure. C'mon did anybody not see another re-colour coming from this company.

I agree with this reissues... Broadcast and Twincast... but this would be followed by another important G1 reissue.... not reissue like Battle Convoy...

I'm surprised they're releasing Twincast as an E-Hobby exclusive, instead of as a TFC, like they did with Soundwave and Soundblaster. Usually the E-Hobby exclusives are either new character/color schemes, or Diaclone colors.
This is cool though. I look forward to it.

Yes guys... an autobot in a decepticon box.... These are the things i hate.... Cheap reissue.... This is the Magnificus box... and the robotmaster Skywarp & Thundercraker box....... But... is the cassete (Flipside, totally new and not reissued ) a decepticon?

Apparently Flipsides is a female character and is a defector. She is an Autobot who was is a spy (which apparently is a fact unknown even to her) and later becomes a Decepticon. As per the eHobby website.

Agreed.
Eh, I think I'm going to skip this one. I've always wanted the Soundblaster toy and I had an opportunity to get an original one. Now I have the original and the reissue. I've never been interested in Twincast and I sure am not going to change my mind now.

Arrived... i like it... on the box there are the words:
''It is a world transformed where things are not what they seem. It is the world of the transformers... a world of the heroic cybertrons and evil destrons!''
Maybe to explain the choice of Twincast in a destron box with a destron cassette?
Twincast has space for 2 cassettes, like Soundblaster

Yes, I do wonder why it was packaged in a Destron box.
The side story for the new cassette (Flipsides) was made up recently for this eHobby exclusive reissue. In the original G1 storyline, Blaster and Soundwave ended up destroying each other. The Autobots rebuilted Blaster into Twincast and the Decepticons rebuilt Soundwave into Soundblaster. Both the original toys were recolored and could hold two cassettes. The cassettes that came with the toy featured a small square sticker that showed the weak points on Scorponok or Grand Maximus, depending on the faction. I believe the reissued cassettes also feature this. Flipsides was not part of the original G1 storyline.
Congratulations on the purchase. I have yet to be convince to buy this one, unfortunately.

''It is a world transformed where things are not what they seem. It is the world of the transformers... a world of the heroic cybertrons and evil destrons!'' is what it always said on the box in the early days of G1. That has nothing to do with Twincast being in a Decepticon box.

In Italy on the GIG box this words had never be

The phrase is a throwback to G1 but the box is still a Decepticon box.
