Whoooooa! Now THOSE are the Best looking super-robot tattoos I've seen here in a long time since Timmycore had his Gaiking robots done! The line art alone speaks Awesomeness, so I just Know the rest of the color shades and detail are gonna turn out looking Badass! As for Grendizer, go for it! Where to place him? I dunno, I can't say, just as long as he'll be seen even from a distance. I'm just saying that because I've had many Arab local neighbors in my area recognize Grendizer right on sight just looking at my small chogokin Grendizer head on its beaded necklace from a distance. Those large tattoos you're doing there will really get folks eyes popped out once they recognize the work subjects from a distance! Dang, if I were to win the lottery right now I'd go get me some anesthesia so I can have either Mazinger-Z or Mazinkaiser on my back! ;D Thanks for showing, and keep us posted, oh and BTW... Welcome to RJ! zozo-mag

Thanks for the welcome guys! Im very happy with the work although it was pretty painful I think it was worth it. During the chest piece I tried to convince myself that I was made of chogokin and that helped me get through the pain I will definitely keep you guys up to date as things progress.

I can only imagine the pain from that inking. I thought I was in pain getting a small tat on my right bicep. I thought I was in mad pain self-tattooing my left shin with a home-made "gun" and later a bundle of needles tied together. .............nope.... my pain doesn't compare. Hands Down, what you have there is True School PAIN! zozo-mag

That is some great work there!! Who did it?? Doesn't really look painful though, that part of your body is pretty easy to tattoo. I am going to do a Grandizer piece in the same spot myself! zozo-mag I am going to come to NY and drag you out for a tattoo someday!

The thicker or fatter your skin is, the less it hurts. Now, where ever the skin is thin and closer to the bone....... that sh*t will HURT! ;D

I'm too big a puss to ever get one, regardless of location of fat content. But then again, my religion won't allow it. Still, if I were to get one, it would be of a bot (Gaiking likely - Timmy, yours rocks) or kaiju (Baltan?). Or something like what nekrodave has - Jumbo missiles on his calves. But that would be copying, so it would have to be something of that ilk. Maybe harikens on my shoulders? lol

In most cases, that's true. Certain areas do give off that "burning" sensation when getting inked; while other areas don't feel much pain at all. I guess it differs from individual to individual. I self-tattooed my left shin, but the work is still incomplete and also very sloppy... I'd have to go to a professional tat shop to have it filled in and tightened around the outline, the whole design, from the bottom of my knee-cap down half-way towards the in-step of my foot. I'll post a pic of it as soon as I can. zozo-mag The thicker or fatter your skin is, the less it hurts.
