I cannot wait for the upcoming 1/72 Legioss AFC-01H ETA Armo Soldier model kit from Wave. This kit will be released by the end of January 2012. I really hope they make the Jota (Green) and Zeta (Red) versions too. I would've loved a 1/35 scale kit, but since Mospeada items are so scarce, I'll be happy with the 1/72 version. I really hope Wave releases more Mospeada characters/mecha. 1/10 Mospeada Ride Armor please!!

It is an awesome looking kit I just wish it was bigger, at 1/72 I'm guessing it will be about 4-5 inches tall. I would love to see a 1/35 like you said but I would even be happy with a 1/60 like the Macross stuff or a 1/48 like the PG Gundams but I guess you can't do much when the actual "mech" really isn't that large in stats.

How are Wave's products quality wise?

I have no idea, I know they put out a lot of models and they did release Patalabor figures but I really haven't seen any reviews to judge how good the toy was.

From past experience, I'd put wave in the low tier of model manufacturers, maybe only barely above Atelier Sai. Odd colored plastics, poor molding quality with a lot of inconsistency in the parts details, even between duplicates of the same sprue, hella warped parts, really awful quality brittle plastic. I didn't even finish the last wave kit I tried to build (A sakura wars Koubu), I was so sick of trying to fix its problems that I threw it out.
I'd like to imagine that they've improved, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
