seriously, how did you made that scrander to look like that? did you make a mold copy out of the one from the weapon set?
even with the issue of the paint not staying straight, it still looks great. when are you gonna sell your own weapon set with a TMZ seal of apporval? XD
on another note, hey TMZ is your SRC Shin Mazinger's upper part of the legs feel kinda restricted for you? mine feel very stiff as well not so articulated like the Mazinger Z or is it to tight?

Thanks bro! I did use the main body of the one from the weapons set as a guide and then grinded down some stuff and added some stuff to it. I'm not too worried about the paint, but it does bug me a little. ;D I agree with you, the Shin Mazinger is very tight. I don't know if it will loosen up with play eventually, but it is one tight figure. The articulation might be more restricted that the regular Mazinger Z due to the legs being "fatter" and the shoulders using a different engineering in the articulation. Mine just sits there in a stand, pretty much neglected all the time. }D

Damn, that custom Scrander turned out Badass!!! Your molding/casting skillz keep getting better and with faster progress. Also, that's Genius how you rigged the Scrander belt to allow the Missile Punch setup in Mazinger's abdomenal area... just like in the anime show, Maz has often used the Missile Punch while in flight. The paint color closely matches or closely blends with the figure's default colors. Good eye, bro. At this point there's no need to wait for an official Weapons Pack2, you pretty much have that down to da science. Great job there, bro! zozo-mag

Thanks! ;D I was bored today, so I made an attempt to recreate the flame attack effect for the Metaltech 02 Giru-Giru... Oh well, it is what it is. ;D I may give it another shot some other time... }D

I tried sculpting a Brest of Fire effect for the SRC Mazinger Z, but it didn't even come close the the coolness level of the Bandai made one for the Shin Mazinger. I may just make a mold out of the Bandai one after all, but it is going to be a b*tch due to all the tiny little points on it... It may not work out so well after all and may be a waste of perfectly good silicone. }D

I just made a mold of the original and casted one. Its good enough, but I do need to fix some more stuff in it. Yes, Great Mazinger needs one too, so I have to figure out how to make it work for it as well. ;D

wow very good job, all you need is the photon beams for the eyes, the rust hurricane and freezing beam for the antennas and you are done with all the weapons.

Believe it or not, I have been pondering about how to make those effects you mentioned work. Once I come up with a feasible way to do them I will be all over that project. May even make some for the SOC as well! ;D

Missile Punch: borrow the translucent "jet flame" effect from the missile punch accessory that comes with the Eternal Forces mazinger figure... use it as a template to make that jet flame effect for the Missile Punch pose on the SRC and the SOC Mazinger figures. and don't forget the snow-shovel, parachute backpack, and a pair of skis. ;D zozo-mag

I think someone used the SRC Pocket Punch effect with the SOC Great Mazinger's Navel Missile already. I need to look that picture up... }D

whoa, hey, I had just remembered something:
...if you used hot glue to make stuff, be sure not to display them in direct sunlight or near any hot areas. ;D

I use the hi-temperature kind, so it takes 380F to melt it. ;D I hope it never gets that hot in my apartment, especially if I'm inside!!! ;D Now, leaving it in a car... that could get very messy! }D }D
