Since someone with lots of authority in Bandai is being an A-Hole and not moving forward with releasing the SRC MAzinger Weapons Set Ver.2, I decided to make my own set. Here is a picture of the prototypes:  I'm also working on modifications to the Jet Scrander, and also finished a new, more proportionate head for the SRC Great Mazinger.  I still have hopes of Bandai getting of their a$$ and releasing the official set, but until then these will do just fine... ;D }D |

- nice, very nice. where that Jet Pilder comes from? it looks really good, almost official if i do say so.
- how did you do that drill missle compartment?
- so your modifying the Jet Scrander?
- a new head for Great Mazinger, which one do you mean? the one that you show us or is this a new entire head?
crossing fingers you do the Great Booster for GM, he needs it XD

I'm thinking if you wanted a Great Booster for your SRC Great Mazinger if you could find a loose one from the SOC version it would look pretty nice with a few mods. The SRC Mazingers are a bit on the stylized side so a bigger than normal Great Booster would fit in with that design edict. Attachments:

or he could do 2 version of the Great Booster, the big one that is the Mazinkaiser OVA and the standard one that we know.
i always though of something like that and called them Great Booster 1 and 2

Thanks bro! I used Alumilite molds and resin, and Tamiya paints. However, as hard as I tried, I could not match the dark blue metallic paint 100% with the SRC's. It would either turn too dark or to light. Oh well, is not like I have a toy factory full of sophisticated toy building machines anyway... ;D I haven't started with the casting of the Great Mazinger head version 2 yet. But it is on top of my to do list. }D |
