Hi Guys, i'm new on this awesome forum and have the following question. I bought a small Gundam collection some months ago, it contains some great Gundam figures and parts, but i have some trouble with identifying one particular body, does somebody recognize this body?  Many thanks  , Flo |

Wing Gundam, looks like from the MSIA line.

Yes, it's definitely Wing - those "claws" are supposed to be folded up behind the fore-arms in robot mode (they come down when it's in flight mode.
However, I notice the metallic gold parts are a bit too shiny to be MSIA (might be the lighting in the photo) but to me it looks more like the old HG kit. I can't be sure because, while I built a few of the Gundam Wing 1/100 HG kits, I never got this one.

Lighting makes a huge difference for these things. In the photo above - the white parts look almost PVC-like the MSIA series... But the kit photo on that flicker page does look like it's been painted over. This makes identifying Gundams kind of difficult unless you have something to show scale. But I think we're agreed here it's an old High Grade kit.

I could tell easily by seam lines and shoulder and knee joints. I built do damn many of these back in the day it's like second nature to me lol. Question is what do u do with a fig missing head and hands

Hi Guys, thanks for all the response, yeah somebody had a good hobby time with it, it's very scratched, dirty and somebody did some painting with a marker  So this is an older type? I found the Wing Gundam 1:100 HG XXXG-01W set, is this the same model? It looks like this one got the golden parts |

yes this is the older kit not the newer mg version thats for sure....... it ant worth much but the orginal kits can be hard to come buy these days if your looking to either buy new or replace parts...
btw if you want some more hg gundams I got some for sale cheap

Ok to confirm, This is the body of a 1/100 HG Wing Gundam. I have this thing in a box in my closet... Never to be built thanks to the MG release a month after I bought it (from a back alley store in Korea)
