Hope to get pics up soon but I purchased a very nice and complete Large Matchbox SDF-1 several weeks ago. Box is a little storage rough, but SDF-1 looks hardly played with and included decals have never been put on. One of my personal grails now complete.

edit : 11/07/2012 just bought the Play Arts Kai Mass Effect Shepard Garrus and Ashley. I know the face sculpts could be better. Love the Game so had to get them. I'll see about making/getting Game accurate helmets.
edit: 11/21/2012 just bought more Play Arts Kai (PAK), Kratos , final fantasy Oerba Fang, halo reach Noble 6. devil may cry Dante and Virgil.
Still need Joker , Armored Batman , MGS Meryl , MGS Solid Snake , MGS Ninja and halo Master Chief. plus a few others.

Right now the new hotness for me is Onell Designs' "Glyos" system. You may have seen a Glyos figure over at CollectionDX as Josh there tends to use his little 2-inch limited "Traveler" figure as a scale comparison for most of his reviews. I recently ordered a bunch of the "Hades" versions (all black with turquoise paint-apps) and the folks at Onell were super nice for throwing in a bunch of extra bits I don't recall ordering. I have fun every day in my office re-arranging the limbs and optional parts.  (ahem: I did notice that instead of sending me Captain Ruger, they sent me a Commando instead - same figure except the parts combinations are colour-inverted light-green to dark-green. Oh well, I might be tempted to order more later - the vehicle bits are kind of expensive so I need to save up...) |

I was able to get a Big O at the last HLJ sale at 50% off last late November and am waiting for betatoys to send 2 -SRC Mazingers and 1- SRC Great Mazinger. So happy that I got the last ones at regular retail price before the scalpers got them. |

Hey TMZ....the Mazinger DX...worth it? I havent bought it yet on the fence. I love the gimmicks, but Im not crazy about the internals being plastic and of course, the price. Also, have you gotten the scrander yet? is it out?

I like it. And I like it even more now that I customized the eyes! ;D I'm not too crazy about the hangar and since I don't really care about displaying it with the internal parts showing, all the extra half armor pieces are pretty much irrelevant to me. The Rocket Punch/Forearms getting loose is an issue with every DX Mazinger, so that is Bandai's fault for making a bad connection design to begin with. Still, I think it is worth the $374 I paid for it. I have the Scrandet add on set on pre-order, but that will not be released until May or June this year. }D |
