All this stuff came in during the work week. Putting off opening it until today.  Got this guy this morning:  The postal worker who delivered it was kind of rude, and I was kind of excited! Wasn't expecting this for weeks! haha. I put my Grimlock on him for scale. MP-10 should have shown up yesterday but the guy on Ebay shorted me on shipping. Oh well  Rgarding the Eva, I also just got mine a few days ago. BEAUTIFUL Figure, but i have ONE problem with it. The toe-heel joint has NO friction at all - its so loose its floppy and I think it was meant that way. This make it a bit more difficult to pose. Why it isnt clicky like the other joints, I have no idea. Its biggest strengths are the paint/material quality and its dimensions. The look is perfect. the Proportions are thin, lanky, hunched-over, but powerful and mean. |

I thought they were a bit loose too, but it works when you do crouching poses. the tightness is all in the ankle swivel. then the heel, ball, and inseam just fall into place to balance. It's actually pretty smart. This figure is actually easier to balance in crazy poses than in a "normal" pose.
My only other problem is the right arm won't seem to lock in a bent position.. don't know if the rubber is too tight or what.. but I'm working with it.
but Yeah it's beautiful. by far the ultimate Eva experience for a fan.
I had a bit of problem getting my hips going. I basically sat down and spent a lot of time posing and pulling and getting used to the articulation.
I literally can't put it down. I reach for it every few minutes.
I don't have the room but I'll be buying more Medicom's in my future.

Lucky for my wallet... I don't like fewture's stuff. Might be blasphemy to some here...
I'm not sure why but the flourishes they put into the body design just goes a bit too far for my tastes and it almost looks like a fan work or something. To me it doesn't look like a getter anymore. It's like a 3rd party fan work...like a design by somebody on deviant art and not the real anime.
I'd buy one if I found it on discount one day, but I don't seek them out. Just too expensive for something I'm not in love with 100%

Im a new collector, and posing is one of the hardest things for me to do. If you have any tips or sites that give tips thatwoudlbe great. Looking forward to seeing some of your final pose pics! |

I actually like the thinner body style of the Gundam AGE. It is a simpler design and not as convoluted as other Gundams. Also liked that in the anime it was more in line with a Super Robot than a regular Gundam. }D |

that is awesome gakken. Mines still in the box, I dont want to take it out till Im done moving places. So far, this medicom eva could be one of my fav pieces. I dont think there is a better rendition of the EVA out there. Its dimensions are perfect!!!
