It's good to know this big bad boy is still selling. I've been seeing it appear online at eBay stores for more or less the current price it's at right now. Whatever version it is, if you can go for the 2nd or 3rd (improved) version, just go for it. WEP would've never wanted this thing here in the U.S., and they tried to black-ball it altogether (as many of us have seen in their FB comments). But, in my honest opinion, by getting this figure we're also schmacking WEP upside their heads for being such assholes about this collectable item. I love handling mine, it feels nice and heavy for its size. And I'm still brainstorming ideas to make a custom display base for it! zozo-mag It's definitely readily available, which is nice... And still going for at an affordable price. I got mine for $159. before shipping.. Just checked the tracking and it just left Hong Kong today. So psyched to be getting this baby in hand soon. Found a good deal on an Albegas too.. Can't wait to have the Voltron trio on my shelf together. It's awesome when the fans get together and put these greedy corporations in their place ! If they aren't going to give the fans what they want, than they better recognize that someone else will. It's been happening in the Transformers community for a while, and I'm glad to see it spreading into other areas of fandom.

Hey $159 is quite a good deal, even better than the range it was 8 months ago. Just wait until it's in your hands you will LOVE the solid weight of it, and it's shelf presence really pops! For whatever this VV figure is, it's got a unique history behind it. lol Collectors have legit reasons and perspectives about collecting this VV. It says MUST HAVE all over it. Just like the DX SOC Mazinger, collectors Must Have this VV. To me this VV is more than a collection item... it's also an education piece into the process of manufacturing such a fine specimen, and all the headaches involved. It is also, for me- first and foremost- something of high sentimental value for which I'm grateful to this community. And after surviving a gruesome ordeal to become a reality, this VV also stands out as the official Middle Finger to WEP! zozo-mag

So I have a few problems, not sure the severity of some... but I defiantly am in need a new head. XD One of the calf's seem to suffer from the dreaded "pointing to far up" or "to far down" syndrome. Finally, the little silver door on the crotch doesn't like to stay on.

Has anyone else noticed if one arm has more outward movement than the other? Like where the helecopter actually splits and folds outward, for some reason my red copter actually is more limited than my blue one.

The Blue Copter on the picture is how it should be. You may wanna open up the Red Copter and find out what's jamming the joint. }D

Both of mine go up as much as they should and stay.

I pick mine up at the PO after work today. You guys are making me nervous with all these QC issues. Please, let me get a good one...

I own one, and if I had $400 or so to throw around, I'd buy two more. I'd love to be able to display this cool item in all three configurations. I don't think I will get another one to display as all 15 vehicles. Unless you have a dedicated display case for them it will end up in "stuff will get lost" territory. I'll be moving in the next week or two so I'll be getting a display case to display my two Miracle VVs. Once I sort my stuff that's in the attic my Miracle VVs will be next to the Original '84 VVs.

Woo hoo! Got mine and no major QC issues.. It was a b*tch connecting the thighs to the waist... I thought it was going to break because I needed to use all of my strength (I'm 6'4, 280 pounds and can bench over 300, so that's a lot of force!!!) to get them to snap in, and I was incredibly nervous doing it, but they held, thankfully. Only other problem was the Hands that come apart were fused together with paint or glue, so I had to stick a flat head screwdriver in there to snap them apart.. But I was able to get them apart without breaking them. So just to let other's know, there are V.3 VV's that don't have major issues. I bought mine from Chimungmung, and Tony's an awesome guy that will inspect them before sending them out, so I suggest buying from him. VV looks so awesome!! This is one of those rare occasions where I'm actually happier with a product than I thought I'd be.. You know what you're going to get when you buy a Bandai, Sentinel, or Fewture product.. With this one, I wasn't so sure, and after reading about all the QC problems others have had, I was really nervous.. But expectations were exceeded, and I couldn't be happier. On the shelf, looking quite imposing...

It's worth having. I think the first release... for $260 and all the problems.. it wasn't.
But $180 and some glue problems aren't so bad when Miracle are willing to work with you.
It's beautiful in my case. Really shines and I really enjoy picking it up and feeling the weight and the clicks are fantastic. It's a toy fan's fan piece.
I think it outshines SOC releases as far as pure wow factor, though the qa and overall engineering isn't quite as good.
I agree, it surpassed expectations. It has a very mechanical feel to it like you're working on a car haha. It definitely needs an instruction booklet. BTW for the waist, if you use a flat object like a small screw driver to hold the black tab all the way in, it will snap in a lot easier.

I agree it's not SOC quality but it's a great piece. Some of the joints, a company with more experience may have done differently/better. Even companies like Takara make some joints that are pretty bad (like the knees on black MP Rodimus). Honestly, the paint job is good, even on version 2, better than the Matchbox Voltrons in the early 80's. Looking at it a foot or two away, nothing bad in terms of the paint job really stands out to me. It could have had better poseability with less or no diecast, but I like the heft of it with diecast.

It was just on one of them.. One went in no problem, the other was just super stubborn. It took me taking everything a part and just pushing with every ounce of strength I had.. The fact it didn't break is actually a good testament to it's sturdiness.. Good thing the thighs are diecast rather than plastic, because I thing the whole thing would've cracked otherwise.. Those are just really finicky connector ports. Maketoys used the same kind with Giant, and it's the same deal. Some go in easy, but some require a ridiculous amount of force, and everytime it scares the crap out of you

Honestly, the only SoC's I have that I would say are better in terms of overall looks/presence, are Godsigma, Godmars, Baikanfu, Daimos, and Voltes V (31V). The paint and detailing on those is just so flawless and the engineering and ease of combination make them superior.. But not by sll that much.

Does your yellow calf piece have a straight nosecone in vehicle mode? Or is it more like mine in the picture? Im trying to determine if thats just how the mold is or not. XD EDIT: I just watched Odeen's video and his yellow and blue leg vehicle defiantly does not have the problem mine does. Does anyone know of how would be the best way to contact Miracle? On the bright side, I did manage to fix the crotch vehicles door.

That is an awesome price. However, beware of Angolz.com. They tend to send items that give the impression they have been opened before. I have purchased several items from them in the past, including three CM's GaoFighGars, and they all had boxes that were in pretty bad shape. Also, with the CM's GaoFighGar purchase, they never sent me the 2010 re-release (even as far as when I purchased the last one last year). They kept sending me the 2006 release one. So yeah, great price for the Voltron, but you may want to think about what could happen if it is not MIB and/or in perfect shape when it arrives. }D

reluttr - did they ever get back to you at miracle? or toy arena?
Toy arena told me they would replace the bad parts if I shipped them the bad ones.
Weird that they are giving you a different story.
