There will always be collectors who want the collect the rare, unique, and the bootleg. I think this will drop now and go back up in the future because of its rarity and the story behind its production. I think the icarus toys Voltron will go up more as it is an original mold, only less than one thousand produced and the reasons stated above. I will never part with my Miracle Productions Voltron or my Icarus toys. I will have the SOC as well.

All the folks who bought this are probably pretty mad, very unlikely they are happy paying premium prices for some item not well executed it was like someone said ok for some time but now Bandai put the last nail of the coffin.... oh well such is life....

This new SOC dairugger would probably cost 30k yen atleast. Plus the Miracle version could be diaplayed as an alternate vehicle mode.

I'm keeping mine as well. I never unloaded my Toynami Masterpiece Voltron when GX-71 came out. I love keeping the predecessor piece for comparative purposes. Also makes me appreciate the SOC version that much more.

IMO - Collector's should enjoy them for what they are and not look to dump every time there is a newer release. I don't think I over paid for Miracle. I think it was $150 maybe. A great price when you think of all the engineering & design that went into the toy.

Ive never been interested in the Miracle VV. cant wait for the Bandai version! I have always wanted a good modern Vehicle Voltron but I have heard a lot of negatives about the Miracle one. It made me apprehensive and I decided to wait and see if Bandai did it. I am glad I waited. I have heard the V2 of the Miracle one is a lot better than the V1.

It made me apprehensive and I decided to wait and see if Bandai did it. I am glad I waited. I have heard the V2 of the Miracle one is a lot better than the V1. Honestly don't get lost with what you have heard - It is a pretty cool piece. At the beginning (circa 2012?) there was a lot of negativity because of the delays and inaccuracy of the information / delivery date. I think a lot of 3rd parties and KO companies learned from the mistakes made by Miracle. Then when the initial robots were finally shipped, everyone jumped on the quality (or lack of) of this piece. I come from manufacturing and I completely understand the need for a quality product - especially at a $300 price point. I think the first people buying and on line where the true hardcore collector (probably a huge group members from RJ). And they all gave very detailed feedback. Originally the toy was listed at $300 on release. Dropped to $250 as for no one wanted all these quality issues @$300. It continued to drop as demand wained and Miracle needed the $$ to fix issues and build more pieces. I was fortunate enough NOT to get the V1. I have V2 and I don't think there is anything that horrible to make is a bad choice. It is not perfect, but I have been displaying it on my office desk for years now. I like having all the different version together on display. I think Bandai will most definitely use some of the engineering ideas from Miracle. Can't wait to see what they put out. Hopefully it won't be too pricy.

I think another ship that would be cool to get a modern release would be RAMROD from Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs..
