Since no one has posted a thread, I want to start one. I will be very busy with finals the next couple of weeks and then leaving the country for a month but if we can organize this, I will stil try to participate even if I have to draw it on my ipad. As some of you know we lost a member of RJ and he had been a loyal Fundraw participant. So lets do a FD in his honor. You can read about the member here. Lets do this!!!How do we start whats the theme if any?Howabout our favorite robots in our city where we live? For instance A pic of Voltes in St.Louis?Or Mazinger in Manhattan?whatever city you live,with your favorite robot illustrated in front of your cities skyscape and or landmarks?Wouldnt that be neat?

If I remember correctly Omni was a big fan of the Getter Robo and Macross. Maybe the theme could be around those two subjects?
C'mon! I'm excited! It's been a (loooooooong) while since we have a proper fun draw ;D

He was also a big fan of cthulhu. Who here knew him best? Hopefully we can get some decent participation. Its a shame these fundraws have fallen off the past year.

I'm trying to figure out how I would draw "Getter Omni"
... a Getter robot named Omni, in honor and tribute to our friend.

i remeber Omni was a huge fan of the Macross series, if im not mistaken he did made a forum based website dedicated to Macross, for a while i was a member of it but the forum died eventually....
anyhow if i could find time i might join the fb...its been a while since we had such an activity.....

I'm very late with my entry. I wanted to create a unique "Getter" bot that would symbolize Omniexistence's username (Existing Everywhere), but I can't find any ideas. Soooooooo........ GETTAAAAAAA BEEEEEEEEEEEEAM! ;D  GETTAAAAAA TAMAHOOOOOOOOOOOK! ;D  ;D Note: I dedicate these Getter 3D models to

I never really gotten over the passing away of my very good friend. I was in a sort of recluse and never got wind of his untimely death till it was already a couple of months after. It was even through second hand news from an old mutual acquaintance of ours that I learned it from. I have never participated in any fun draw nor submitted a drawing to any forum. His memory prompted me to draw something we both share a passion for. Omni, Ariel, my good friend, you will never be in oblivion. In his memory, The Mazinger Team.  |
