Mechabot-1 boooootleg?

Some one could ID this Omega Supreme? Is amde in Taiwan... so i think is a bootleg.... What's the quality?What's the value for a MIB?

Yes, that's definitely a bootleg. The original one doesn't have any chrome parts and the tracks are more "computer" gray. Although these tracks may have yellowed due to age and conditions like tobacco and such.

Not sure how much the bootleg is worth, but the original one has escalated in value since Dreamwave characterized it in the comic books as the Omega Sentinels, lifeless drone guardians of Autobot City, Cybertron. Omega Supreme was the "supreme" Omega Sentinel because he was the only one to have a spark (or soul). This mythos gave the original non-TF Mechabot-1 toy a place in the TF universe, thus making it even more desirable among collectors than the more common Omega Supreme.

On tf2005 someone say 130 usd shipped is good... because is rare.. even if is a bootleg.... someone have it and say it is of high quality...

Well, I honestly don't know. $130 shipped doesn't sound too bad, if it is good quality. I've never seen either in person, and I don't know the market for the bootleg, so I really don't have anything to go by. I'm sure someone would pay the $130 though.

I have one and it is standing next to my G1 Omega Supreme. I'm glad I got it when I did, because if that person is wanting $110 for that one, I got a deal. When I got mine a while back, I paid $50 for it plus shipping. I'm guessing that would be a good price for it. I'm terrible about the "worth" of something. As far as quality, it seems to be the same as the G1 Omega.

If you look on eBay under Omega Supreme there are two Mechabot-1 for sale that are Japanese made, not Chinese. One of the sellers claims theirs to be a Diaclone version, but the track is gray not yellow. The asking prices on these is more than for an Omega Supreme. Hope that helps a little.
