After all these years, I've finally got this toy. In mint shape no less: Still haven't gotten it yet in hand (a friend of mine in Japan picked it up for me) but it's on it's way. About how big is this 'bot? -Joe

Awesome Joe!
It is a biggie, probably around Voltes and Tetsujin Godaikins.
There is alot of plastic, but it is part of making a fun toy to play with.

Just got the toy in today. Man, it's pretty minty. But yeah, the die cast is primarily in the legs (if anywhere else). Still hefty and I like the size.

I'm going to say bootleg - Korean or Taiwanese. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

You trying to buy one, or sell one? And is it 100% complete?
Also, just curious if you have a picture of the outer box kid, I'd love to see if it's different like the overlay in your picture is.

I'm going to buy one. The outer box is damaged, let me find the pic first. 100% complete. Is 200 USD make sense?

KO are tough. Can be very subjective due to rarity and overall quality. Let me ask someone I know. So far, if it is complete I say it sounds fair, but I haven't seen this KO before.

Cool find! I only remember once years ago seeing a pic of that, so seems rare. $200 is fine for a nice set, as that's still 4-5 times more for the original Takatoku,at $800-$1100 these days.
That logo looks very similar to the one on the Bandai GodMarz Custom Type, which has a "Japan" release, and that sticker on a Taiwan release of same toy, Haha.

I agree. I'd say go for it at $200 especially if complete. Thanks for getting the pics of the box lid.

That's truly an interesting find. A legit Bandai product? Seems odd though considering the dumb-down of the mini robot in the bottom left. You can see they went with a single color rather than the multi-color parts of the original. I don't know if the original has any metal either (I only own a loose one with only the large robot). Even the Ceppi Ratti Italian version is closer to the original.
As to value, I might pay that price, but I love KOs. Plus this is pretty rare. Good luck with the deal.

Trying to search online still no info hahaha... Let me close the deal, and I will make short video review for this one. But to bad I dont have the original one to compare. @mr Ginrai: Your welcome repairtechjon: Thanks!

wow..... THAT is a first. I assume Bandai bought much of Takatoku's toys when they went into bankruptcy. Note Valkyries.... so this GoShogun mold makes sense.
I've NEVER seen that Bandai sticker on an absorbed company toy though.....
It may support Bandai Asia production secretly ramping up, hence the quality issues...
