Excellent review TJ. I like the mexico exclusive more, especially the darker colours. Btw, your background/diorama is fantastic! Did you make it yourself? Naaaah; I paid to have it built! Man, the SS Goku vs. Da Tong is a hard choice because the DaTong has that crappy body with the dead looking skin, but then it comes with shaded hair similar to the SDCC SSJ release... so in a dream world, I'd get both and use the KO hair on the regular, but in reality the legit release is the overall better purchase.

Was planning to get SS Goku @ BBTS while normal Goku over @ eBay, coz its pretty much sold out. But was contemplating between the KO Goku since it has 2 KO versions. Datong tends to be more than the other KO. But I'm worried about them getting loose. Any thoughts on the KO version?

Any thoughts on the KO version? goodness! are there KO DBZ Sh figuarts out there? are they easy to spot or look just like the real thing? |

Actually theres a couple of them on evilbay, one the famous Datong brand which is quite identical to the legit one and the other one is a no namer SH Figuarts KO. There are some comparison reviews in youtube about the Datong brand but havent seen the other no namer KO version. |

thanks the information guys! well I guess as long its easy to tell them apart its alright. just concern that unscrupulous sellers try to market fakes as the real deal.

Nah they already got the name KO on their listing. Plus be aware of the boxes if someone is trying to pull a fast one. You can easily spot the Bandai/Tamashi & blufin logo at the boxes for legit ones and none for the KO ones.

I haven't had issues with loose joints. On mine , the pegs aren't made well so changing face expressions and hair isn't fun.
From what I've seen the paint quality varies from one character to the next.

man so want to get them but at the sametime i dont' know where to start for it.
btw there where some more pictures of other figures for DBZ one showing berus and whiss and the other 2 gods from the DB Super and as well Angel Goku, GT Goku adult, SS4 goku, kid goku (from the DB) SSGGoku, Future Trunks in saiyan uniform (both regular and SS) and SS3 vegeta ( base on the DBZ raging blast 2 and from the DB Heroes). also Porunga.
