Ok, I need advice in a major way! I just bought a Popy Grendizer from a party overseas. I saw many photos before purchasing and the Grendizer was as close to mint as I've seen. Well, I received the package today (which was wrapped very well). To my dismay when I got through the layers of bubblewrap, Grendizer's head is broken!!! It doesn't sit upright. His head just falls back into the spazer position. It should snap upright and then snap back into the spazer position. I examined the inside closely (without unscrewing anything) and it appears that a tiny little piece of plastic must've broken off, although I don't hear anything rattling inside when I shake him. I don't think this happened in transit but more likely when packaging or even before that. I used Paypal but the seller was an unverified user. I'm extremely saddened by this. My question to my peers on this forum is this; has anyone heard of other Popy Grendizer heads breaking where the head won't sit upright? Other than super glue, is there any other way to fix it? I'm sick over this, I've searched long and hard to find such a mint Grendizer. I paid a bunch and almost feel like selling him on E-Bay right now!!! Someone tell me it's gonna be ok!! LOL

I still have the head off the one that I am on and off restoring. I believe for keeping the head upright, is just a small plastic lip to catch and keep the head in the upright position.
I will try and remember to take a look tonight on mine again on that as I am not sure how easily repairable it could be.

Thank you very much Bourno. I am sick over this......This Grendizer is still in unbelievable condition. I put a bead of glue inside the Grendizer and it seems to hold the head up and you can't tell at all but I wanted perfection, as I certainly paid for perfection! I don't have the spazer so I guess it's not a huge deal in that respect, but I'm still bummed.

Looks like part of the head piece would rub or bump on some plastic areas. Maybe the head could been moved slightly back by loosing the 4 front screws and pushing back on those two pin holders while snugging the screws back down.

Thanks again Bourno, your photo does look like the answer to keeping the head up. But what will hold the head in place when the head is in spazer mode? I'm honestly afraid to even mess with the screws. I was able to get a nice bead of glue inside the body which is holding the head up perfectly but the only problem is that it's locked into place. Too bad you didn't live closeby, because I'd drive my Grendizer to the Bourno emergency room!! Thanks again

Hello Rodman.
Does your Grendizer's head go full straight when you try to put it in normal mode and then it doesn't stay in position? I know that on mine I have to "clips" it to stay in place. What I mean is that the head stops right before the higher postion and I have to slightly put it more and then it's stays in place, you can feel that it's locked then. Maybe you didn't try to do that fearing to brake it. Don't force it but if it doens't go in a straight position that's maybe why. Hope you will be able to solve this.

Thanks Mike, where are the clips located? Are they on each side of the shoulders? The head falls back as soon as I take my finger off it. I think the 'clips' probably broke. I put a little bead of glue inside the body which is not visible at all from the outside and it keeps the head up perfectly, but I paid huge money for this and I want Grendizer to be perfect!! I almost want to unscrew the head and check it out but I don't want to damage anything further. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Great news guys! I unscrewed the neck assembly and was somehow able to adjust the head less than a millimeter but that was all it took. Grendizer is now mint again!! Order is restored in my own little jumbo world. I will add pics soon!
