Man that sucks! You get the process started to bring this auction to an end! And maybe an account suspension!?
Glad it was spotted!

While I don't mind getting in product, fixing it up and re-selling (cuz I do it myself), but I am going to watch out for fellow board members when they have provided us with quality items at a very good price.

Well, I'm not sure if it's illegal to buy stuff from somebody on ebay and resell it after for a higher price. But saying that he's doing them and I think that this guy is even using pictures from other people auctions, there's also stuff from shogunplatics I think.
But this seller is really not honnest, In my all life of collector, the only time I had trouble with somebody it was with this guy, I've buy him a U5 Great Maz on ebay then he proposed me a boxed Poseidon off ebay, it was 10 years ago and I'm still waiting for it today. I've learn a lot with this mistake. This guy was really not nice and clean.

I would like to file a report...
Tell me which is better... (there are more choices in the 2nd and 3rd categories) But I am showing the choices that made sense to me).
So all the ones go together. And all the twos.
Report Category:
1. Listing Practices or 2. Copyright and Trademark
Reason for Report
1.Fraudulent Listing Activities or 2.Counterfeit item or authenticity disclaimer
Detailed reason
1. You suspect a Listing is Fraudulent or 2. Disclaimers about the Authenticity or legality of an item.

i dont know if there is really anything you can do through ebay. since these are repro items, you probably arent going to get too much help just because he relisted them as his own design, etc. ebay did their part in introducing and completing the transaction. whoever holds the copyrights at this point for jumbos has been pretty patient. i am very sure they are aware of all the repro and bootleg items that come with a premium and have taken no action that ive ever heard of. but if they wanted to, they could send us all cease and desist notices. i dont think we can do the same to other people, though i understand your frustration.

Your absolutely right on all points.
I think what really irks me about it is people not willing to put in the time and effort but will take credit for someOne else's hard work and due dilligence.

I believe with our small numbers, they do overlook things. Thank goodness, they are not like Disney, as lawyers would be knocking on the door fairly quickly. Through hearsay, I was told that they do keep a tight leash in Japan though for anyone trying to make reproduction items.
I gave wtfunks a listing tip for finding his missile listings easier in France and one can block ebay IDs from bidding on your auctions.
While this did happen, one can limit it for any future recurrence. Like 1oldrobot said, I am happy that Bandai or Mattel haven't cracked down on parts made for these old toys that have help many a person for collecting.

You make the cake, but that beotch in france is hoarding the wedding guests. Now THAT Really SUX. THAT is so fkn downright FecEsious. A'ight, let her run out of it and when he comes back ordering for more just tell her F U !. ...male or female, a scalper is a Scalper. 1oldrobot made some good points in his comment, and I'm afraid he's absolutely right. And one thing we're most lucky so far is that the fuz hasn't come kickin doors down seizing our customs and repros... I don't think we're really That significant enough to warrant such action, since we're only doing this here for our fellow RJ members. On that note, whenever I make any custom parts or objects, I'm only gonna sell the stuff Exclusively to fellow collectors here at RJ, so it stays HEREand I won't have to worry about some succubus hawking my objects on eBay and claiming it as their "own" hand-made" object. If I sell an object outside this board to a foreign fellow collector it would only be someone I trust or a member from one of my hobby-related web-groups, and I'd only sell that person ONE item of the object. F' it... I wouldn't sell Anything outside this closed circle if it's gonna get scalped. zozo-mag

In the last couple of years, do notice in ebay that there are increasing number of REPROS eg boxes, fists , missiles that are profit driven. Look at the Grendy repro box now live at ebay...selling at near US$800..I hope no desperate comrades will buy it. Seriously do not mind repro or repair work that is for collection and hobby sake...but for profit driven like these resellers... I am now VERY EMOTIONAL

the french guy sounds awfully sketchy from the listings herein of peoples problems with him. thats too bad. it may have been fun to network with someone in another country that could sell your product at a much higher premium and either keep coming back to you for more, or work you in on a profit split. then youd be a wholesaler/manufacturer. thats an awesome situation. too bad it cant happen with that particular ebay member. i looked at his ad today. he certainly did mark them up for a healthy profit.

that totally blows wtfunks, sorry to hear i think your best course of action (and probably the one best under your control) is to sell no more to this person...

Thank you for the heads up on this. This guy also uses another ebay account under the user name iron-man82 So be sure to block that too. I sold him a bunch of Double Harken, and now he is saying he did not get them. So glad there are tracking numbers in this world. I was wondering? Isnt it against the rules to have more than one ebay user account? Can't this guy even take his own pictures... Think I'll post something on my Facebook Page about it. Thanks again for posting this thread.

And the situation in Italy is even worst, as some of you already noticed....There are a couple of people selling repro labels that are simply copies downloaded (and even unmodified) from free files hosted on an old Machinder web group....

So after consulting with Fleabay they told me that it is against The rules to use someone else's images in listing. If you provide them with the item number of the listing That is using your images, they will take the listing down After confirming the image is from one of yours. As far as him reselling the parts, they said he is in his right to Do so. Also I found it is OK to have more than one eBay Account.
