Hello,
I was perusing Ebay and came across something called Mini Godaikin Collection Grendizer and Voltes V, apparently made by Bandai.
Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine Bandai product or a knock-off?
Thanks.

They are real and pretty rare in my opinion. Think Shogun Warriors with stickers.

They're real, released by Bandai around 80's. Check my website for some info and pictures.

I did not. I want to see it in person before considering purchasing.

IMO, the Shogun Warriors series (Two-in-One Guardians, Jumbo Machinders & Mini-Godaikins) are the rarest of Voltes V figures. Many would probably argue with me on these but I've been owning Voltes V figures for 25+ years now and these brands are rarer to appear at auctions or stores than the Popy / Bandai variants.

I have the Shogun Warrior collector series mini Voltes V for sale in near mint condition for $30 shipped in the US if anyone needs it. This one rarely shows up on eBay and even when they do they're usually beat and chipped all to hell. PM me if interested.

Nice figure, no paint chipping. But it has no stickers in it. Kinda overpriced for a loose figure without the original stickers, but hey that just my opinion. The price of a toy still depends on collectors willing to pay for it.
BTW, I got my loose mini-Godaikin (pictured on top) for $5 at eBay before. I forgot how much was the MOC.

This Voltes is from the Shogun Warrior Collector Series line which came out in the 1970's, so it's not missing any stickers, it only came with the silver wrist bands. The Mini-Godaikin version in your picture came out almost 10 years later in the 1984 time frame. Mini-Godaikins were reissues of some of the Shogun Collector Series line with a bunch of non-show accurate stickers added to them ( they did not reissue the Dangard, Gaiking, Dragun, or Poseidon). Look at the Great Mazinger and Combattler for example. Feel free to use this picture on your website if you want to include the original 1970's version.

You're right, so this is the Voltes Mini (Voltez). I don't have this yet, since I only looked for Jumbo Machines and Two-in-One. And I thought I was complete already =). Oh well back to hunting again.
I will update my site (last updated 2008 lolz) and add your picture glane21.

By the way, Bandai released ALL the Shogun Warriors figures.
The Mini-Godaikin second series, with different picture on the card, is incredibly tough to find ( I have only three figures !!!) There is also a boxed series, for foreign market, with original "Chogokin" logo on it, this is my favorite, no doubts ! It taken decades to find them all !!!

The mini figures looks pretty cute, kinda reminds me of the more modern bandai GT series released some years back.
