I'm sure this is a Lucky Draw edition figure. I've seen several of them that are gold. I don't know a lot about the Lucky Draw except that its a contest offered by Takara in Japan where you have to mail in a certificate entry and then they draw names to pick the winners. I've read there are about 50 figures made for each drawing. I just barely got a Lucky Draw Flame Convoy in the mail. I'll probably post pics of it sometime today.

Probably so. I know my lucky draw figure had only 50 made and its one of the latest lucky draw figures, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if there were only 20 of these.

Here's a link to a list of lucky draw figures. Click on the figure and there's a ton of photos of each one. I'm not sure if this Convoy is on there or not.
