saw in another thread that riobot is making a new Type 17 from the knight of sidonia anime. do you think Bandai will make it in the src line as well? it is a superb looking mecha!

I hope not. It is more Real Robot than Super Robot. Also too many other figures I want first.
Robot Spirits would be a better fit.

Heard Figmas already getting a Tsugumori so I don't think Bandai is really going to stack up even more on KoS releases

R-J'ese,
I wish to add a Garada K7 and Doublas M2 figures to my collection, mainly to display and face off with my SRC Mazinger Z.
Should I wait for SRC, or in case it'll take Bandai too long or never, should I get the SOC or do you suggest other figure line?
I saw 2 awesome figures by Maxfactory but they aren't poseable...and I do not know their scale.
Would someone please show me a photo with SRC Mazinger Z and SOC Garada & Doublas, so, I could see a size comparison?

I saw 2 awesome figures by Maxfactory but they aren't posable. i dont' think we will ever see them in the SRC line, bandai has done some bad guys on the line but those where more like recolors than anything else and a bit of alteration like a diferent head mold or a extra part. my best bet would be the SoC versions however they will look to big for the SRC unless you don't mind the scale for the bad guys at this point. as for the figures f Maxfoactory aren't those the ones you need to build? im not sure about there size, but if you want you can try and use revoltech joints to give them articulation. |

Yes, it is big, but it is not real size. If I recall correctly, the Terragona statue is only 12 meters high. Mazinger Z is supposed to be at least 18 meters tall. Had it been done like the Gundam one in Japan, it would most likely be perfect size! }D |
