I never seen it so it might be new.....new repaint that is.
Come on team SRC...come on Bandai, give them some more license!!
But I have the normal colored one. It def is a fun set.

i just got the SRC Getter 1 ova version, and i gotta ask what happened to the SRC line ? It's in limbo at the moment? Apart from the Year of the Dog Maz (Asia exclusive, not really rare though) and the Kurogane Grendizer with Spazer (Tamashii in Lucca exclusive) there doesn't seem to be anything in the pipeline for the mass retail market. Maybe we'll see something at the December Tamashii Nations and hopefully it won't be a another repaint of an existing figure. Maybe Bandai's pulling the old "bait and switch" routine. Crank up the SOC releases, slow down the SRC releases, and then later do the reverse? lol...  Gold |

They did just release the Great Mazinkaiser, didn't they. It's just the line seemingly has become "all Mazinger Family... ALL the Time... but just the basics, nothing that isn't one of the main hero bots!"

P.S. Does anybody remember when we used to get robots that weren't Mazinger, Mazinger Variants and his assorted siblings? I mean look at the front page of teh Chogokin forum lately. It's pretty much all Mazinger lately. A touch of Grendizer. Gimme some big colorful combiners damit!!!!!

It's likely that the line will be on hiatus for a while. AFTER all, they did just release three all new huge mazingers, among some other things like repaints and such. If I had to guess though, I'd say that the next figure is probably a getter, given that emperor has been announced for the SoC tamashii mix line and getter robo go for a regular SoC release, that might indicate somo sort of getter wave for Bandai. I would certainly like to see that.

they showed ton of SRC prototype but we didn't see them in the production line

Yeah, I would have to agree, the SRC line is dead. Though Bandai doesn't seem to announce or formalize termination of lines, I mean, look at how they "killed" the Soul Spec and Soul of Popynica lines. No fanfare or official notice, it just kinda faded away. Looks like the SRC line is following suit. Sad.

come on guys the last SRC figure was released about 6 month ago lol
i would like to think the line got merged with the SOC line under FA name
it will be sad not to see those cool prototype get the green light for production
