Well here you go, I will start with some comparison pictures. As requested, the MB Exia along side two GFFMC and a 1/100 MG. It just doesn't look right when placed into a group of UC (Universal Century) Gundams. Seems out of place. But if you put the MB Exia with the AU (Alternate Universe) Gundams, Exia fits in pretty good. Even better fit in Repair III form. Now I can put things back to the way it was. So I spent a couple of hours on this, the Exia MB and it is a solid figure. The parts swapping, going from Regular Exia to Repair III is easy. I love the details, and it just looks amazing. One thing that you do have to look out for is when you move the joints around be aware of what your may potential bump into, you don't want to rub the parts together. I like the heft of the figure with the abundance of metal parts but I must warn you of the joints. The first time around, they are really tight, but moving it a bit, it become loose. My Exia's left elbow, after posing it to do a cross body long rifle pose became somewhat loose, at least looser than the right elbow, but it still holds in place but try not to bend these joints too much. No ratchet joints, and pretty much all friction type joints, and while the figure is fun to play around with, I don't think it is wise to keep moving the joints.

I painted some parts, not a lot on the MG Nu Gundam, you can see more of what I did in the WiP thread. I did top coat it to seal in the decals. That could be why it looks painted. As with any Gundam kit, the more time and effort you put into it, the better it looks. As for which one has more heft, it kinda feels the same. But remember the Exia is smaller so and more of the metal is being shown through the armor. I think the Exia has more metal to it.

Most likely a TWE. Looks cool though but I just don't like battle damage stuff. Was never a fan of the Exia repair, as seen in the first couple of episode of season two of Gundam 00.

Hmmm so will the Exia repair be just the parts or a whole figure? If it's just the parts count me in.

Hmmm so will the Exia repair be just the parts or a whole figure? If it's just the parts count me in. I was thinking the same, but when I though about it, the chest is damage as well as the arm and leg, not sure if we can remove the whole arm or leg on the MB Exia to do this. Also the whole chest needs to be change. It's not just a simple head swap. So I am thinking it be a completely new mold/unit.

they should have just included the accessories needed to transform Exia into repair 1 with Exia repair 3 package. But nooooooo, they just have to bleed us dry.
