I don't understand why Bandai is not doing any new Grendizer SOC or an SRC ?? Could it be license issue that only HL has ?? I just want a perfect Grendy on my display  |

He did a great Gakeen CMS custom too.Seriously though,this would be a great SOC outing.I just DONT GET why companies dont hire some of these unknown customizers,their work is FAR superior to who they have on staff!
I hadnt noticed how off the grendizers colors were especially the legs on teh SOC til this repaint!

By the way, does anyone know where would I post on this forum if I want to buy a custom Grendizer anime accurate head for my MetalTech01 Anime version ? (since HL came short with this one) Thanks guys.

While these customs surely are great, I can't give them as much credit as FAR SUPERIOR than the company staff, due to the fact that they already have the sculpt and base to work off of, and did corrections on some parts. On the contrary, its a lot more work to sculpt and build something from scratch. And due to being a company staff, they might have pretty short time frame to wrap up their design and sculpting phase (as production can take a long time), unlike the hobbyist that can take their sweet time and research and search for the best tweaks they can get, with a in-hand specimen to compare. The folks behind these customs are a talented bunch. But I would give some credit to the original SOC & CM's designers as well. GX-04 and CM's Gakeen are both great as is. I like them both enough to not have an urge for a better version, even if there is one. |
